So I had a pretty interesting idea for a future ride based on JW. You guys tell me what you think. Using the triceratops land, I figure a back to the future style ride, but instead of Deloreans were using the gyro ball from the trailer. Ride vehicle fits at most 10 riders. So through the magic of universal engineering, the ride starts in a mock loading dock, everyone hops in the gyro ball for a ride in the valley with the Dino's. The physical ball rides and stops right before a pair of doors that lead you "outside".
Once the doors open the ball rides into a 360 degree style 3d landscape of the isla nublar herbivore valley. The ball never actually moves at this point but it bumps and leans to simulate movement. Things start calm as you pass the grazing dinosaurs until they start stampeding like in the movie trailer. Here's where things get interesting, an ankylosaur knocks the gyroball off track down a hill that leads to a forest line. Things get very silent as you hear a call from the ride operator to stay calm and that rescue is on the way.
Your hear the ambient dinosaur noise coming from the jungle, until you hear a deafening roar from a carnivore you've never heard before. It's the imdominus rex, you can hear it, but you can't see it because of its camo abilities. That is until you hear and see the smack of a claw penetrating the glass I front of you in 3d. Then the creatures full body is revealed. It rips off the front glass, and tries to fit its massive head into the ride vehicle to eat you. Using its tongue to feel around. The attack ensues with the creature rolling and shaking the ball around until you hear another roar. It's the original rex from Jurassic park coming to save the day. You then hear another transmission on the intercom," ok we were able to rout the autopilot back to the track, I hope you guys haven't been too uncomfortable, we're sorry for any inconvenience." The rex rushes in from the brush and starts to battle the indominus rex as your vehicle starts to rattle alive.
You get to witness this great battle in font of you as the animals tail swipes just above the ball, narrowly missing you as you start to ride away. As you are finally rolling back to the track you witness the big trex roar In victory standing over the lifeless body of the indominus. The ride vehicle returns to the depot and rides back into the the load unload area like in tower of terror.
What do you guys think? I know it's screens, but I think this would be a massive hit.
