Well I really hope it doesn't have that Downey jr crap. To me marvel superhero island brings back the times when heroes were allowed to be ridiculous and flashy unlike today where everything is dark and dead serious.

Dude, Downey Jr. as Iron Man is probably the most comedic super hero out there right now.

If they have plans to get rid of MIB sometime in the future, it would be nice to have at least one shooter ride left in one of the park instead of another coaster, and I think Iron Man could work. What if the ride vehicle was like the pitched coaster idea where you're on your stomach, but on a kuka arm? It would be as if you were stepping into a simpler version of the iron man suit? Then for each person there would be a repulsor glove on a cord that you could slip on and shoot Hydra robots or AIM robots or goons, etc. it would definitely be a unique spin on the shooter style ride. What do you guys think?

that would be pretty sick. Amazing actually.

But could they even make something like this?

Who knows, but it wouldn't really make sense to have Iron Man over in USF when there's a whole Marvel area in IOA.

Here's an interesting patent by B&M for a new load system for their flying coaster:

That's a great find. Interesting that it dates from 2002 but has never been used. It looks really good and like it would streamline the boarding process, but perhaps the currently used system was deemed to be more mechanically reliable.

I guess, I don't think the movies are funny per say though. A few one liners and auto pilot suit jokes (yuck yuck) don't take over the "serious" plot lines of those movies

I'm not saying Iron Man is a Seth Rogan movie, but Tony Stark certainly has a witty personality and I think that's part of what resonates so well with audiences. It's a movie with so many things going on that could never happen in real life, but the Tony Stark character is portrayed as someone you'd love to hangout with.

Yes... I created a MSHI Expansion thread here:
http://www.orlandounited.com/forums/showthread.php/9040-MSHI-Expansion

I'm no moderator and I know there's been a lull with Kong right now, but this has been a MAJOR thread drift.

Was at the park today...saw the earth moved around quite a bit more since my last visit, but no construction was happening while I was over there.
I hope we see some construction kick in to high gear soon and an announcement within the next couple of months.

A King Kong novel was released by the screenwriter concurrently with the [1933] release. So TECHNICALLY it fits in IOA! :)

Slightly devastating. So does that mean the new entrance to JP is going to be closer to Thunder Falls?

This could mean the path is moving up toward the new attraction building. The area where the path is now could fit a small attraction either JP or Kong depending on the direction it faces

The triceratops encounter (size wise) would fit there.

If the gateway is moved up all the way to the restaurant
