NBC's Today Show Appearance/Complimentary Tickets

I am standing beside the crew from NBC News National. We are at a scene where the FBI shot a friend of the Boston Bomber here just north of Universal.

The Today show has made a cool adjustment. Willie and Natalie are going to be at Universal tomorrow. This means they will probably begin taping ride interiors late this afternoon or early evening. It also means that most of the live broadcast will begin at 8:30 am and continue through 10 am.

At least they decided to keep some of the segment, maybe we'll see something interesting (unlikely, I know).

DisneyHead, what is the deal with a satellite truck that has the NBC logo but then a seemingly private "swampboy" logo? Neither looks temporary. So, why the quirky gator picture and title?

"NBC's Florida based satellite truck "Swamp Boy." The infamous swamp boy feeds the NBC network from FL and other places as needed"

Yep, that's Swamp Boy. Seen it many times. And yes it is a privately owned Sat truck, but he contracted by NBC most of the time. He is staged at Universal for the Today Show and couldn't pull him out for the Boston Bomber Friend story 2 miles away Nd they had to get Yellowbird, (another private sat truck), to come down from St. Augustine.

They have been going back and forth but most so far has been NYC. So far has been tiny segment attached to weather or while cutting away to commercial
