Twister's overlay would be less about filming you as a movie extra and more educational, think the USH Tram Tour or DHS' Backlot Tour in it's heyday, mixed with the historical perspective that the Horror Makeup show has in its video packages. Getting slightly more elaborate on my initial thought:
Room 1, Studio:
Gives a brief introduction to the heyday of the Universal backlot, where spectators would come view movies in production.
Room 2, Entering "The Set":
Same devastated house as current Twister, screens display information on the benefit of practical effects over CGI in modern times.
Room 3, Effects:
Displays a more robust funnel than the current Twister attraction, and allows guests to view scenic elements reset for a fresh shot as they exit.
