Oh yeah, cause those rides are insanely popular among guests at Disney...

As much as the fanboi in me wants to see a Universal history attraction, it wouldn't be very popular.

First, let me switch one "parent ride" This ride idea from USO92 could be like the offspring of the USH Backlot Tour and Spaceship Earth... on speed!

If done right, it has the potential to be popular. It doesn't have to be like a museum tour, but more like a thrilling adventure through the different movies in the history of Universal Studios.

That actually could work if it has some thrill and history put into it (maybe you could let guests choose their vehicle's thrill level like on the new Antarctica ride)
You could include Jaws, Kong, BTTF, Psycho, Twister, Ghostbusters, The Matrix (bullet time show scene!) , and other films as well,
but enough difference from Great Movie Ride so that it doesn't come off as a knockoff of Disney.
