Looking at those boats, seems like it's the final confirmation it's NOT using the Shanghai Pirates ride system...

Really? Because each boat seems to have a front and back tether (post with a wheel on it).

Seems weird for the boat ride to be using the Shanghai Pirates system. I've been under the assumption that the boat ride was meant to be a C/D ticket ride. Whereas I would imagine that the Shanghai Pirates system would be used in E ticket rides

Ride system does not have to dictate the ticket level of an attraction. Disney may have desired to use the Pirates system (if they have) because they wanted to be able to control where the boats are facing at certain points during the ride, and that system made the most sense to achieve that goal.

So does Florida Jungle Cruise.....

(optimistic, but keeping my expectations low. I believe this is the ride vehicle guts for Shanghai Sasaki Time: Is This the Ride System for Pirates for Shanghai Disneyland?

Trust me... the details alone that you can't see from aerials make the land feel very nourished. There's a good balance between the human- and Na'vi-made props and signage, and the "natural" side to Mo'ara. At its blandest, it's reminiscent of DAK's Africa. At its most visceral and intricate, there's a sense of Diagon-level theming. The forced perspective mountain range is something you can stare at for hours.

Maybe it's just me, but I am getting a completely different tone by simply put, the boats looking rather similar to Aquatopia.

Perhaps thats just me, but I am not surprised if that is the actual system, and it isn't Pirates.

All I'm going to say is...there's a reason why construction photos are carefully controlled of they're released. Many of us have been working for months or years on this project to bring the highest quality product to guests. Posting photos like this nor only ruin done surprises that we have planned, but also show the land in a state that the general public shouldn't see it in. People draw conclusions about song it in these states and have preconceived ideas about what we've done. This does a disservice to Disney and and the entire Pandora team. Please wait to post photos of the completed area when everything is in and ready for the public, when it's at its best. I know it's exciting to have an inside glimpse of what's being done, but wait until people see it in its final form.

Sure- couldn't you say the same about aerials? I mean- even more so? It's an angle we'll never see, and you can see every single backstage element. Additionally, we see "making of" videos for several attractions. The making of Everest or diagon and seeing unfinished elements never made them less fun or immersive to me. If I didn't want to see it beforehand, I simply wouldn't watch it or look at the pics on forums.
I'll also say that those who come up with preconceived notions off of unfinished work have opinions we should take with a grain of salt. Similar to VB aerials and how "basic" it looked with "no theming outside of the volcano". We see how ridiculous that person sounds now as it continues getting its final touches.
Please keep in mind we're the 1%. 99% won't have seen a single pic outside of the Disney webpage or an aerial prior to stepping in for the first time. Heck- 40% likely won't even know pandora was at DAK.

My point is...these pictures were taken in areas where if you need to take pictures it requires a photo pass. These were most likely not officially leaked by the company. This is stuff we don't want you to see yet, and for good reason. Fortunately, nothing to crazy was revealed here, but there are areas that if you saw what we have, it wold ruin some wonderful surprises that we've been working very hard on that e want you to see when you get here.

Seeing that rhode retweeted it, I look at it as endorsed by the company.

Agreed. Omnimovers are used to for "E" ticket attractions like the Haunted Mansion. However, I would imagine that the cost for this system does add on to the overall budget.
