And how this plays out overall for the park will be interesting.
With DVC previews that adds like 10,000 people to the park in the total say that I think otherwise wouldn't be at AK. As in, I don't think many of these reservations will be people who would otherwise of have been at AK that day so the normal park operation will be going on and then there's an added group of guests.
APs travel in singular vehicles too, so while it's not some obscene number per hour (just two full shows at American Gardens Theater) I'm a bit worried about AK parking.
I actually think the park itself will be less crowded once the area is open - because while it will generate new visits, it will also pull from existing attractions to some degree.
Say a normal day at AK is a clean easy 20k. This preview adds 10k to make it 30k. Not sure the extent to which people will hit the rest of the park but shared infrastructure is going to be very busy.
As opposed to a "it's open" day, Pandora still Services 10k or more guests, but 5k come just for Pandora who wouldn't otherwise be at AK, and 5k of those in the park as planned already.. so the total in the park is only 25k so it's a lot less "busy" than during the previews.
