Okay so the FoP queue has my attention. I don't have an annual pass but I'll be there May 11th. I'd assume my chances of getting in are slim to none?

Yeah that's still during CM previews.

How long are the CM Previews going? Are there any next week, or is that just AP Previews?

I am starting to wonder, if it's fully ready and all that; they may soft open the land by next week. It wouldn't be the first time that a Theme park began softs before AP's got their chance to go into the fray.

Way upstream somewhere I posted all the various preview dates - not sure how to find it now.

Current timeline I managed to find scouring the web:

AK Cast Previews: May 2-4
WDW Cast: May 5-6 and May 8-12

DVC: May 13-22nd, 9am to 11am.

AP: May 13-22nd.. later times until 8pm.

Found it!!

Add in the AK cast Pongu on May 1st - So aside from May 7th randomly being open it seems every day is booked until the 22nd.

That's also not taking into account of another potential Media-week for Disney, which I am sure they will do as Universal is doing the same for Volcano.

I would say, that Softs can still happen. It just depends on the timing they have for AP previews. And considering that it's a two hour interval for DVC members, I could easily see it on a similar territory for after the 12th that we see a part of the day let out for the full general public, and that they will simply do barricades for the time being once the previews for DVC and AP's begin.

That way, they can test it with the general public, to ensure that things don't break more easily.

It's a guess, but I think that's probably likely; unless if anyone can debunk me with time-stamps that they may of gotten for registering for AP previews.

The previews all seem to follow a 2-hour window then a 1 hour gap before the next block begins.

So...
9-11
12-2
3-5
6-8

The biggest unaccounted time span of the park operational day is 8-9:30pm. So that seems likely.

All the previews mention that you're supposed to leave at the end of the 2 hours. So what the empty hours are going to really be for isn't clear.

Looks like the cheesecake has been renamed to mousse. Chocolate still called "cake" though.

In its defense (what little it deserves as "cake") it has a spongy layer at the bottom that is ostensibly cake. The cheesecake shared no commonality with cheesecake.

Elsewhere...

Where'd the hula skirt go...?

And they commented they're returning tonight for more - so expect night time preview pics later.

I think the empty hours are for Ops to clear out the people from the previous block and make sure everything is ready for the next set of previews.

I think it also gives them leeway if things go to crap with a downtime. It's unlikely they'd lose all 4 FOP theaters and a boat ride rarely takes more than an hour to fix.

Yes, I must know this. Although, since I fit on the horsey ride at Legoland this week I think I'm safe.

I know the pre is killing time while the previous group rides but it seems long, I wonder if some gets cut to speed the capacity. What is that 20 every 5 minutes? Even with multiple loads it does look like it will be a long time in that queue.

16 spots, 3 levels, 4 theaters. 192 per 5 mins. 2304 per hour. That's rough estimate with easy round numbers.
