I heard somewhere that any attempt at having "live" Navii was abandoned, so this might be a remnant, as i recall the stage being built pretty early on.

Cast members were saying something similar when asked. It wasn't realistic enough apparently.

That's disappointing. They could have had an animatronic storyteller (or Shaman) rise every hour and tell a different story of the land or something. Remember the Luxo figure that would do a come out of a window and do a dance every now and then at DHS, same idea.

They have been available for my dates (21 June - 6th July) for a couple of weeks now. My assumption would be they are all gone for opening week.

As an environmental scientist, I can really appreciate this. This would be a good conversation topic/educational opportunity while waiting the in queue. I really love how much care they've put into details like this. I'm getting more and more excited to visit Pandora, but I still need to book a trip hehe

I agree, living in South Florida you're constantly hearing about the Pythons and Lion Fish.

I was EASILY able to get a FP a few days ago, for FoP exactly one week after opening night. Also scheduled my first showing of Rivers of Light.

Maybe people are so focused forward they don't notice it? I mean I always notice the actual elevator sensation on Transformers, which actually happens *before* the simulating falling on screen. Makes my stomach feel funny.

It better work come Saturday when I do it. I'm really looking forward to that feature in particular.

Well, video of the ride, so to speak - a blogger left his camera filming from his bag - but he only shows the load and end (because the elevator gets in the way, but he doesn't mention that.)

Can someone explain the "dropping" sensation on Flight of Passage? I'm confused as to how that works or why that would be in there? How "dynamic' is it?

The way I read it was that it is right at the beginning... as your dragon jumps off the cliff and sinks 20 feet down before it gains loft... that is the "drop" effect.

Which is the part i dont understand - it's not like big giant freefalls, but the system most certainly drops the riders multiple times, as well as climbing rapidly akin to Tower.

I didn't feel any of that on my flight.
