So, looks like typical Universal strategy of stepping on a Disney announcement. 
I think there is a Mardi Gras one every night right now and personally, I found it to be the best parade I have seen in a long time!
Why do I have a strange feeling that they may intend on wanting it to be open for friday..

Except only theme park geeks care about TM soft openings. I think Disney wins this round.So, looks like typical Universal strategy of stepping on a Disney announcement.

You've gotta understand how capital projects work; a project manager can plan and forecast as best as they can but until the last few months out nothing is final. I think it's just as easy this ended up having a last minute issue and only opens one theater on April 6th than it is to have softs in February. Remember the Despicable Me hydraulics leak fiasco?
