I'm excited for my stay at the end of Sept....but can't help but seem disappointed by these photos. The check-in area looks like a 2-star motel with that awful Windows 98 background backdrop, and these rooms are ridiculously tiny. I feel like there's barely any walking space between the beds and the television dresser.

I think it looks beautiful. I don't know where people are finding these motels that look like Sapphire Falls, but dang I wanna know where they are.
Maybe you should book at another hotel and just visit this one, that way you will be sure to get what you want.

From Orlando Informer...
Breakfast is served daily between 7am & 11am. In addition to the menu below, a breakfast buffet is available for $21.99 plus tax for adults and $11.99 for kids.

I'm not sure. I do know that the table service menu had some gluten free items. But as far as the buffet, I don't know for certain.

Referring to this. Rather would've left it stained reclaimed wood than paint this tacky mural. That was literally my only gripe with the aesthetics and the size of the rooms.

This sign annoys me to no end. As somebody who makes signs, they took a massive shortcut to not remove the vinyl underneath instead they just covered over it.

I imagine this is only temporary while the new sign is being made. Why they didn't think of having the sign ready when the resort opened is beyond me.

It's really bizarre. It would have taken about half an hour max to scrap the vinyl off. If I was to guess, they didn't take the sign down and just applied the vinyl straight over, the reason possibly being if it's over the road, it's stopping traffic.

It really irritates me that they've shortened the names to squeeze them on there. Aaahhh!

I don't think they've squeezed them but they've changed the font. Which is even worse.

If anybody is interested the old sign is Futura and the new one is Interstate.

Don't forget, Volcano Bay still has to be squeezed on as well.

Wasn't suggesting there wasn't room, just that it's something major that will need to be added. It could also be why they did these signs like this. They may be waiting until next year to change-out the signs completely.

It makes sense, with the new logo, a complete rebrand of all the resort signs could be on the cards.

Which would be a shame as I think the Universal signs have a lot of nostalgia value, same as the Disney World signs.

I think Uni's signs are far superior to WDW's. They certainly both have that nostalgia of "We're here!", but if i'm comparing the two, I think Uni's are much classier.

I would say nostalgia is all WDW's signs have going for them, those purple, red, and yellow signs just scream '90s. I think they should change them.

So many things were ruined in the 90's/first few years of the 00's.

All of these road signs are human factors nightmares.
