I was ready to get in my car first thing tomorrow morning to ride Splash Mountain. Happy it isnt the one back up because it needs all the love it can get.

Disney came through.

Splash Mountain reopened today after an extensive refurbishment. The attractions AA's have been repaired and it looks better than ever! No more tarps.

I just watched that... I actually cried. Disney pulled it out of the bag. Finally. It looks amazing. I'm so happy right now and just hope it stays that good until September!

The disgrace formerly know as Splash Mountain has been repaired. The fact that TDO allowed to attraction to run for years in the embarrassing condition that it was in is the reason that people at TDO need fired.

They're all going to get raises for running a ride without needing a significant investment for years.

I enjoy Disney and am not as critical as others, some are just more so than others but that can be said with anything in life. Some may be more critical of Walmart over Target and hate everything Walmart does or vise versa (bad analogy but you get the idea )

The point is it's hard for people to applaud them for fixing something that NEVER should have happened in the first place. You can be happy it's fixed, but we shouldn't forget what brought it down so much in the first place.
