Are the "groaner" IP's enough to warrant not making the trip this year? If it's going to be something so outrageous I'd rather save my money for a better year.

We still talking about this? lol Probably a good idea to get used to? There is nothing for me to have to get used to. You have your opinion and that it is fine. I am being misperceived. I say this respectfully but words were put in my mouth by @Joe and made to seem like I felt Rix Flix has credentials for inside info because he is a youtuber and to automatically believe him. I simply stated he is a youtuber as some background information incase someone did not know who he was but then it went from there and somehow turned to me apparently not thinking it was just speculation. I mentioned Bill and Ted because I have seen talk about it and felt there could have been a chance it returns, but not necessarily because Rix Flix.

When I said you have your opinion that did not mean my opinion is that I believe him one hundred percent. I stated to you to take with a grain of salt what he said and obviously when Universal makes their official announcements then things will be confirmed.

Edit If you do not like his info more power to you because you do not have to. You have that right to your opinion as I have said. I understand we will all see when the time comes what will be featured at HHN this year.

This actually made me think of Game of Thrones, since last year Uni supposedly Obtained and then Lost that IP for HHN, and I know many people were groaning about it's possibly coming to HHN last year... just my thought when seeing this tweet and I'm probably way off.

I thought of The Conjuring because of the last part saying there's a third one coming. Also because if I'm not mistaken, The Conjuring was a property that was gained and lost twice.

I know you guys don't like Ifrit on here. Does anyone if Ifrit is an actual insider with their own sources? Or if they only make riddles based off of rumors from the internet? Because if let's say, for example, that riddle was made because of the rumors on here about the Conjuring, their tweets would be kind of redundant to post here. I was only posting because if they're hearing the same things from their sources as legacy is hearing from their sources, there might be some legitimacy to it.

Universal only “lost” Conjuring once.

I think Ifrit is simply referring to it becoming available after the Warren lawsuit ended and then becoming unavailable when HMH happened.

I don’t understand why Universal thinks HHN needs these rumored IPs to boost attendance or market the event. Instead of annoying fans with these IPs, why not save the licensing money and do originals? If you can’t get good horror IPs for the event, why bother with IPs at all.

Because just about any IP will drive attendance more than just about any original.

Finally got back in after the whole forum revamp.

Addressing the topical, Conjuring would be not too shocking to me after a point. It appears all but agreed that the WB event is dead. IT ended, quite literally. So...they may have missed the mark there. Not that they probably couldn't justify doing it with the bank it did pull in, but still. The Conjuring meanwhile, is a still on-going series that they already basically had before lawsuit business got about in 2017 and then the WB event shut everything down. It's also one of the unused IPs that I do feel fit a year of this kind of caliber (though based on the "groaner" that's being talked about, that particular form of picking and choosing may not matter much.). So mark me down as probably attaching to that particular rumor (along with Candyman I guess, though I'm iffy on that property as a whole).

To briefly address the Ifrit, I think he does have some good info, but he's never had the patience to just sit and wait, or not present everything he has as being the truth. He was trying to reveal announcement dates early last year, which was never going to work with how easily stretched those are.

In terms of the groaner, I don't think it's Game Of Thrones considering the reason that supposedly didn't come in the first place. It seems to have been said it's neither the Purge or Halloween 5, thank goodness. Was Walking Dead discounted? That'd be a big ol groaner.

Sometimes it's not even about getting people to the event. It can also be about getting people to watch a movie of theirs (DU).

Conjuring was rumored/speculated around this time for 28. I guess that’d be the “second time”.

I really think this is the year for Conjuring, barring any last minute lawsuits.
