I am still surprised that we still have nothing for Kid zone. How is Spongebob not a go for this project? Isn't he still popular to kids?

Why not focus on Illumination Entertainment? They already work hand-in-hand with Universal, have four successful films, and SO MUCH on the pipeline.

Their four movies are The Lorax, Hop, and the 2 Despicable Me movies. Despicable Me is already represented at the front of the park and the Lorax will be represented in Seuss Landing. All that leaves is Hop. I think They pretty much have to look elsewhere since there doesn't seem to be too many options there.

I think universal should eliminate Kidzone altogether. Have more to do for children small children through out the park,. not just one section. So with these movies and more to come, they have a chance to do that. Not sure about Hop lol.

Smaller additions for kids with smaller footprints ie Kodos and Kang are being looked at for other lands and parks.

I feel stupid for not having that idea first. It's just common sense.

I think it's obvious they'll re-do the KidZone to be more family-orientated, not just for kids only. Things with extremely narrow appeal like Barney are definitely not the way to go.

The kidzone re-do is several years away, so it is possible another movie could be out that they could use. I don't think Uni knows what they are going to do. They probably have several ideas, but probably have not narrowed it down to the one idea.

Well that eases me a bit. I don't have kids, but often I always see family members having to wait a large rides children can't get on. And Vice versa in kidszone. I always notice the bigger kids bored for an hour or two while the little humans play.

The way WLB talked at one point was that Kidzone was going to be tackled right after they completed work on Potter phase 2. I wonder what changed and what was supposed to go there. The way he talked it seemed like they had a definite plan at one point.

I think IOA's expsnsions(Kong, JP, and Lorax) are coming first. I think after that KidZone will be the next target.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they bump the KidZone re-do back to 2018 or so. It just seems really unlikely that it would happen by 2016 at this point, that is unless their plans aren't very elaborate...
