It's time to drop it. You're biased in your argument because you are the generation that Spongebob is aimed at. Izzy's whole point can't be understood if you aren't willing to look at this "debate" or whatever's going on from different eyes.
Let me put it this way. If you've never seen the show "Friends", you're not going to know what The Central Perk is...it's too broad a name. So the addition of a venue called The Central Perk shuts out any group of people who aren't familiar with Friends (which, considering how many international visitors Universal gets, is probably quite a bit).
Meanwhile, if you've never seen the show "Breaking Bad", but Universal added a restaurant called El Pollos Hermanos, most people would still know chicken is sold there independent of any knowledge they have of the IP it's derived from. Therefore, something like this would be the stronger venue to put in the park.
Krusty Krab is the former example...except it's even worse because the name is misleading (Central Perk could mean anything, but Krusty Krab would seem to specifically refer to seafood to those not in the know). At the end of the day, parents are the ones booking the trips, paying for them, deciding where to eat, etc...while the Krusty Krab would be a fun place for fans of the show, the older people who don't watch it and who Universal cares about (the ones with the money) are what matter.
