I'm now starting to think Smurfs, TMNT, My Little Pony, and others like them might not be a stretch for this area... too many insiders leaving cryptic hints :look:

Let me just be the first to say: If Universal had the combination TMNT, Hot Wheels, Scooby Doo and something superheroes oriented in their Kid Zone, that would officially give me my own personal childhood dream land. That combination would without a doubt get me all giggly and feel like a kid again. And of course you would have to have: Barbie and My Little Pony for the girls. Obviously I realize all these different properties mixed together would almost be impossible but I'm just noticing how amazing it really could be. Also I feel like the idea of a Video Game land itself would be insane. Would it be possible to have such titles as: Mario Bros. or Sonic within the same land??

I'd support all of those coming to Universal! However, video games would work best in the 3rd gate

Except it's something adult males (the insiders) are excited for. So you can cross off Smurfs and My little pony (unless they are secretly bronies).

I really want them to shake off the current "theme" of the studios and stick to major cities where the 'movie and tv magic is made'. We have New York, San Fran and Hollywood we are getting London, we have 'Springfield'. TMNT works by extending New York and the plot/MIB can go to Tokyo (or something else). Re-theme the front of park properly to Hollywood akin to DCA redo and you have yourselves a cohesive theme.

I don't have a clue if this has anything to do with KidZone, but I have heard that Universal would like to further their relationship with:

So Universal want´s to have a relationship with a Russian dog called Laika that went into space on the Russian space program?
To bad that dog is dead. Wait "The Walking Dead Dog" a new spin off children's tv series with kind of a Lassie spin on it but now in the Walking Dead Universe where a kid befriends a dead dog and have fun adventures together. I'd love to see that at Kidzone...

Or it could be Laika, the company that produces stop-motion films like Coraline and ParaNorman :look:  they also happen to conveniently be produced by Focus Features which is connected to Universal Studios

If Universal wants to do work with Laika sign me up. I have been dreaming and hoping for a Coraline attraction since I saw the movie, same could be said for ParaNorman. I am also looking forward to their next film the Boxtrolls. I thought it was awesome to hear that they had characters from ParaNorma at the Park but I never got to see them. My only hope would be that if this is true that they give us amazing dark rides chuck full of animatornics and next gen tech.

It's probably a Boxtrolls Meet & Greet. Similar to the ParaNorman they had.

Makes sense... at least it's a hint towards what Universal might be looking at

I'd support Coraline and Boxtrolls coming to KidZone since it'd allow E.T. to remain (all three could fit in a forest)

Either way, any of Laika's films would make a fun family dark ride!

Universal's on the outs with Nickelodeon except for SpongeBob and Dora so that's going to be a tough one  really, there's been too many Nickelodeon lands for it to be a unique concept unless full scale recreations of a jungle, TMNT headquarters, Bikini Bottom, etc.

That's the problem I would have with it going right next to Springfield though.

It's not right next to it. It tucked away a little. It's one of the only kid shows out there that everyone somewhat knows. All those other kiddie shows on nick are awful. Spongebob and fairly odd parents are the only old school shows left.

Meh, I wanted to continue the suspense and a The Walking Dead kids spin off with a dead dog is much more awesome but I think they indeed go with the stop motion studio. Sure could be nice but not huge (IP wise).

I could see maybe a walkthrough attraction or a small dark ride... nothing huge but it would be in-house so no licensing fees unlike the one who lives in a pineapple under the sea :P Although I could see the front of KidZone being Nick-related... TMNT and possibly SpongeBob? I just can't see why they don't like Nick anymore.
