I believe @Alicia mentioned it before in a video, but I think the rumored lineup is Frank, Drac, Wolfman, Creature, Mummy, and Hunchback

Would be surprised if the Bride wasn’t somewhere though as some monster girl power

I love the thought of the Monsters being chained up in the manor for the last 100 years, then becoming suddenly “unchained” and VERY pissed off.

This ride is going to be bonkers!!!!

I wonder if the plot will be the monsters breaking free on their own or them being purposely released on the guests as an experiment. Excited either way!

So with Waterworld looking less likely for the left side's expansion pad, what are we thinking will go there? I will optimistically hope for more Monsters!

Is she safe, is she alright?

Nah, I'll throw a fit. Her movie is better than the original Frankenstein.

I mean Pretorious is Harry Frakenstein's right hand man in creating the Bride of Frankenstein and he gets a shop in the land so I would think if they are adding all the other Frankenstein characters that were not super popular they would add the Bride

Since Nicolas Flamel’s house is rumored, any chance you think that book with Lally Hicks talking in it will be featured in the window? or the sorcerers stone? those would b so cool tbh!

Also, giggle water making an appearance is a hope of mine

Also for anyone who hadn’t seen it, since it is rumored, this is how the house of Flamel looks in the fantastic beasts films 73603270-CB59-4C73-A681-AC5ADF70DFD4.jpeg

For what it's worth, Flamel's house, which will be located in the side alley on the front-right section of the land, will have one the largest window displays in the whole land... at least according to permit documents anyway.

So, there's a good chance that something related to the character may be there as part of an interactive wand display.

Girl power aside, I would be surprised if the Bride wasn't there because she is an awesome character. I consider the Bride one of the 5 main monsters.

Question, with the inside of all the ride buildings closed, from construction nerds, when do they like, test the rides? Do the sets fully get build before the vehicles, should AA’s be being shipped in? I’m curious what that stuff is like now that we’re 2 years out and I assume they want these done earlier to make sure things work.

Depends on what you mean by test. They’re doing a pull through with an actual ride vehicle in the indoor scenes at Donkey along right now. Been testing the ride system off site for years.

Certain individual aspects may be tested for rides beginning as soon as this year. Rides can start cycling next year, probably without final sets, animatronics, video, and especially sound. I think rides like Guardians Cosmic Rewind was testing for months with human riders before sound design was completed and installed for example.

It’s certainly an iterative process, but also, with so many teams working separately yet at the same time, you’re bound to get testing of each system happening at different times. And hopefully it all comes together in time.

For Monsters and Ministry, I bet they test the ride system itself for awhile before all the animatronics are installed but after large set pieces have been, to answer your question.

This is a sort of chicken/egg type scenario in reality. On one hand, obviously you don't want to spend (presumably) millions to build something only to pull a "Hold onto yours butts" moment at the 11th hour and pray everything turns on for the first time, but also a lot of the time the ride profile, dispatch rate, and certain dialed in effects all combine to create a lot of moving parts that affect the final product too.

It really does vary wildly, but sometimes there is a sort of test profile that is used to prove functionality and allow for a longer test/adjust phase to tweak the non-ride components objectively. Think Spiderman with no motion profile built in, just purely riding between scenes, parking for the filmed bits, and then driving to the next scene. They will then go through and continue to build up the sequencing, adding more effects as they go, before compiling the final guest experience. There is a famous clip of an imagineer riding Dinosaur with a control box in their hand, programming the motion profile from inside the Time Rover itself that comes to mind. This type of process is really pretty spread out through the construction phase and right up until opening (sometimes even taking place during soft opens).

Now, obviously you can't just turn off gravity and take something like a coaster at a leisurely pace (for the most part) but this is where pullthroughs and envelope testing come in. Typically this takes place when the coaster is close to or completed as a closed circuit (which we can see them doing for some of the coasters here already) but sometimes for trickier spaces these take place pretty much from the jump.

Again, it really widely varies, but as we have seen with a lot of the more outdoor attractions at EU, sometimes the ride will be fully completed only to be immediately packaged back up to prevent damage from scenic work taking place, so a closed building does not necessarily a test-ready ride make. (excuse my wordy response, was up all night building theater sets and still haven't been to bed, lol)

EDIT: Welp, turns out I literally just typed everything Alicia was already responding with as I was typing it, haha, I should really check the whole "There have been more responses to this thread" tag before posting

They definitely do not want a repeat of USF opening. Heck, IOA had two months of guest previews to test out all the attractions
