I’m personally not a fan of the Arthur ride system, since the position of the carriage means you don’t get the experience of riding on the back of a Dragon. I’d rather see a combo of FJ and FoP, with the mobility and arm of the former, and the seating position of the latter.

Yea I think the Arthur ride system is nowhere near dynamic enough for HTTYD. I’d love something like an inverted FJ, if possible.

But I think a FOP type thing could work as long as they built it to be *exciting* this time.

I’d prefer a mix of physical/simulation though

It has already been done which is probably why it won't happen as UC didn't create it.

The evolutionary step for the FJ would be to allow the track to move from below to above the rider or to the side.

The idea of having no track below you facing downwards with land or water rushing past you would give a great practical effect for flying.

Absolutely. I meant to say that I’d want the vehicle to be able to move around from room to room and interact with physical sets like Forbidden Journey, just with a seating position more appropriate for Dragons.

So you agree that just 4 worlds right now is blue sky to me 4 worlds just seems very small sorry. Let’s say if it were only 4 worlds Nintendo is coming World if Monsters is coming but the last 2 aren’t confirmed we don’t know if FB or DreamWorks will show up. Jurassic World has already been cut from the 4th gate.

They do. A dueling coaster. Human side is a sit-down. Cylon side is inverted.

You mean like this ride system Universal patented back in November? They could use it for HTTYD where the Dragon is carrying you from above in its claws perhaps. The big thing below is a curved screen ala FJ just that it's below you as opposed to in front of you.
