I wonder what percent of the universal visitors are British post HP. While Dr. who is popular there and pretty well followed in america, do outer countries follow it much?

I would imagine it is rather popular outside, but that Britain would be the predominant market for Doctor Who.

As for what they could do, I see a few ways they could do it. Logistically; some form of interactive element would be incorporated, hell; potentially with the Sonic Screwdrivers as a basis for the ride itself on that front.

And as for what they could do, perhaps looking at Justice League - Battle For Metropolis would be a good guess.

Take in mind, it's a thought; but I see it very likely instead of a expansion of Springfield.

0 interest in Dr.Who and think expanding Springfield would be a far better idea.

Simpsons hasn't had the long lasting iconic knowledge that Doctor Who has had, which that's been over 50 years with well over 800 episodes, trumping Simpson's 618 episodes. And that I am willing to bet that The Simpsons will rest after S30.

While that's great. I would bet the Simpsons is known by more and more popular. Could be 100% wrong though.

I think more Springfield might be a bit of overkill and I feel as if Doctor Who just doesn't have enough of a following even if it did fit in with an expanded London. What about a B&T ride that takes through all the HHN shows since 1992. Now that I could get behind.

Now I could also go for a completely different ride and area than Springfield. Maybe an original section with a ride or two to replace MIB.

Most Americans don't really know about Dr. Who... I'm kind of a nerd and I barely know him. I really only first truly realized what Dr. Who was while watching Community (Dr. Spacetime). The average American would ask Who?

I don't think Doctor Who would get more than some sort of a store + meet and greet situation similar to Hello Kitty. A Doctor Who store in London with some sort of Tardis facade where you can meet the Doctor inside? Sure. An entire attraction? I don't think Doctor Who has the draw here to handle that.

But if we WERE to get a Doctor Who attraction... come on. It would definitely need to use Kuka and be a next gen Forbidden Journey.

Disney sells a bunch of Dr. Who merch in the U.K. Pavilion. I think that's really the extent of what you can do with the doctor in the US, though.

Is Bond not a possibility? I don't see why they would go for Doctor Who attraction over James Bond.

Would rather a Kingsman shooting attraction over Bond to replace MIB. Going to duck from the insults now.

Love Kingsman. Rated R though. (Besides extreme violence, there's the questionable butt discussion at the end too.) Not theme park appropriate.

Well I wouldn't want the R rated portions in the ride. More so a training scenario to become a kingsman. Can even keep the suit ending from MIB.

Dr Who is so niche, if Dr Who does come, no one can say any other IP is niche to go to future parks.

Wasn't insinuating they would include that bit in a ride, lol.

But besides Backdraft and T2 I don't think Universal will ever base an attraction on a rated R property again. They're becoming more family friendly. HHN is the place for more mature IP based attractions.

It's easy to see who knows the show based on if they use Dr Who or Doctor Who.

Seen the show, Enjoyed it when it was David Tennant was on but production value sucks and Matt Smith was my least favorite doctor of all time. The only good thing about the 11th Doctor was it gave us Karen Gillan
