Also, the laid-back, party atmosphere on the backlot where you can drink alcohol was very appealing to me. When I went to HHN in 2016, alcohol was prohibited inside the parks. I believe that has changed now though?
Moes & Duff AFAIK, serve alcohol.

Beer & wine are park-wide now, and likely will be for future events.
Yes, because that's all you have.
I mean I don’t live in Florida. HHN Orlando is just the only haunt that’s worth traveling for (IMO).
Liquor is available too. Just sayin...Beer & wine are park-wide now, and likely will be for future events.

I don’t think he is saying Florida is the only place for haunts. HHN Orlando just puts on a high quality event that a lot of people travel to experience it. Not taking anything away from SoCal offerings as we know their are some options. No offense dude, but why are you even on this thread if you have ZERO interest in only attending HHN Orlando?
PS: If you think that Florida is the best and only place to experience haunts...LOL

I actually agree with JungleSkip. If I lived out-of-town and chose between Hollywood or Orlando, I would pick the latter, no hesitation. Like Fallow mentioned, 2016 would be the only year I would even consider it a worthy event to travel to Hollywood. I think that's the only year I went six times, it was so good. Other than that, HHNO is hands-down the best haunt event in the country. I flew there four times to see it. Even the weakest house there is better than the strongest house in Hollywood, usually.I thought he was pretty clear. No haunt outside HHN Orlando is worth traveling to according to him.
I disagree. I'm just tired of that attitude. There are TONS of high-quality haunts on the West Coast that are worth travelling to. Hell, people travel to Haunt Conventions off-season such as ScareLA just to see what's coming down the road.
It's just a disservice to tell people that HHN Orlando is the only haunt worth their money.
good god man Orlando hotels are cheap as hell just stay longer and even September multi night express of it makes things cheaper.I actually agree with JungleSkip. Not watching videos because spoilers, but I'm actually going to agree with Wesker as well. This is their first "real" year without doing an event on this scale before. Of course it's not going to be perfect. I never expected this to be a "book my flights to LA RIGHT NOW" sort of haunt, but I am expecting to have a good time and check out something NEW. HHN has grown very tired to me and I look forward to a new experience and an event that may **hopefully** push them away from lazy, budget-cut, black wall houses. I'm going to wait until I actually see for myself tomorrow before I make any judgements on this event. I'm still excited.
We can all agree it's at least better than HHN last year, right?
Go with a couple of guys and it’s even better to split the cost. Biggest expense are the flights.good god man Orlando hotels are cheap as hell just stay longer and even September multi night express of it makes things cheaper.
I'm going tonight. Jonathan Green went last night, and tweeted this:
