I still don't like the idea of paying $350 for 32gb (less actually) and a glorified iPad. Price drop pls.

...you're paying for a video game system, the hard drive, a game (that retails for $60 separately), and the "iPad" controller. It's not a steal, but it's not exactly a rip-off, either.

MagiQuest wands will be $50.

Ah, I see. I have to wonder what the response to that will be though. When you pay $100+ to get into the park/parks, most expect all attractions to be included. While the experience sounds quality, $50 on top of everything else, even if it is a good experience, may turn some off.

I am sure it will be noted that the standard wands will also be availible for a cheaper price and honestly, with what other parks get away wtih charging for interacive bonuses it is a fair price range. I would not likely buy into it but I would certainly be more likely to buy a wand if I knew I got more out of it while I was there.

It is not like Agent P or Sorcerer's of The Magic Kingdom, for people that don't feel like getting it just for the game they also have a really cool prop replica wand to take home as well.

I'll try Magiquest. Even at $50 it sounds kind of cool :) Would be funny to have effects like messing up the clock over the owl post of making the DC sign blink on and off like you shot a spell and it misfired.

Returned home today from four days in Orlando. I will be posting pictures in various threads throughout the afternoon/evening. Please be patient as I have a lot of shots to sort, resize, process, watermark, upload and post.

From December 21st - Gringotts Wizarding Bank . . .

Bob, those are some great pictures and thanks for taking the time to take them and share here with us. I'm looking forward to how Universal pulls all of this off and what the end result will look like.
