If they remove the photo train I will scream like a wounded panther. I don't believe there will be any photo ops possibilities with the new real train engines, however I will bow to HTF to answer that.

Nah. I think he meant that there'll be one out there as well once it opens.

As much as many people like the train Photo Op... I think they would be dumb to keep it. They are spending millions to build a working train ride and then they keep the now "fake" train also? This makes no sense to me for the sake of a photo spot. I think the overall land/theme should get priority and the train op should go.

It just makes no sense... I get off HWE at IOA and leave the train station... I walk around the path and there's this 2nd HWE engine thing sticking out of a building that clearly is not related to the train station I just came from? NO THANKS!!

I will only accept the keeping of the train if they move it; and it is made to look like the ride we were just on is sticking out of the building I just came out of.

Also 1 final thing, WAY too many people crowd the WWOHP and the train op does NOT help things at all. The train op moving or being “deleted” would really help the crowed in that crazy area.

I like the train too… too... But it gots too! go!

Maybe they could build more behind the train that's already there. They could say the train already in Hogsmeade is on some sort of roundhouse track. The train there does create a slight bottleneck but it's easy to get through those crowds as opposed to the crowds who just stand in front of the FJ queue.

I see no problem with the train staying. In fact, I'd be disappointed if they remove it. I think the train + conductor photo op is unique and fun.

That gets me thinking. Any word if there will be "conductors" on train itself? Also, any idea what live entertainment, if any, could be featured in Diagon Alley?

Hogsmeade Station from the 12th . . .

Dragon Challenge is definitely closed due to the Hogsmeade Station construction. Note the white hoop fixture mounted to the side of the coaster track. This is to help prevent trucks and/or equipment from hitting the track.

I thought that was it's purpose at first. Although, doesn't it appear that the depth is to shallow to serve that purpose. Width looks good.

Edit: You may be correct. In a few of the shots the ground appears to be approximately the same distance as the clearance envelope. Change opening of edit to: You are correct.

Are those black tubes drain pipes or are they something else? They look a bit 'different' to me.
