FYI, Hogsmeade was just featured in an on-location video clue on Jeopardy!

Thought I remembered someone saying they saw a camera crew there recently. This may be the explanation.

Well this weather is a slap in the face. Just did IOA today but glanced over at the track and construction from DC. Spidy is just what I have always hoped it could be; and still very popular! Rode it four times. Burger on the balcony had me at peace and happiness. :o) FJ seemed as ever (fart) but the queue still dazzles me.

Will not be at the parks on Friday, as I have a private tour of a kind of Borgin & Burkes in Winter Garden. (I even had to rent a car!!!) I will try to riddle you all... Comcast/Uni be damned.

Doing the US thing tomorrow. Oops.. almost typed a description of myself and how to spot me... that would be box-office poison from this website. Approx. 9000 visited UOR today, and 7425 were thrown out for "looking suspicious and taking pictures" :look:

Is it me, or is that perhaps bad for business??? Thank goodness, I am made of gingerbread.

Huge photo update from Orlando Informer today.

Look at the bases of the steel in this picture. They are diamond shaped. This is our first hint of what the facade there may be:
020-harry-potter-expansion-universal-studios-florida-05-01-13-9852-oi-550x309.jpg

Those diamond shaped forms are column isolators and wont have anything to do with the facade. They pour those so that any movement in the columns will not crack the slab.

WESH is really pushing their piece on the 5 o'clock news tonight
http://www.wesh.com/themeparks/other/universal-orlando-harry-potter-wizarding-world-construction/-/14183038/19978360/-/lfoka8/-/index.html

Looks like they took the chopper out, looked at the filings, and even have a "theme park insider" (Wonder which blogger the pulled)

Banks Lee I believe. He just mentioned on Facebook he was headed to Fox up there. Not sure if WESH is Fox though

Do you guys think there will be a height requirement for the Hogwarts Express?? I would imagine if there was it would help reduce the number of strollers being taken on, and thus reduce the need for tons of storage space. If strollers are allowed on at all.

Unfortunately parenting seems to have gone south, and the size of kids in strollers is on it's way up. Remember Hulk and Dragons both have stroller parking, because sadly some parents push around their able bodied 54" children in strollers.

That being said since it goes from one park to the other you kinda have to let strollers on. No one is going to leave their stroller in the other park for hours (nor would universal want them to due to space/missing strollers).

Didn't HTF say that there wouldn't be stroller access on HE, but there will be wheelchair access?

Hmm... Well, this video preview certainly peaked my interest way more than the first time I heard about this. Seems it won't be as "shallow" a feature as I thought. In one part of the video preview it looks like a hidden camera looking backstage at the side of Kings Cross :look:

When they talked about "Documents" in black and white, that shot looked like a Google Maps/Earth satellite view, and any documents are probably the SFWM plans we saw ages ago... but the "Bird's Eye View" alone will make it an interesting watch. Looking forward to catching it when I get home tonight. I got my DVR set!
