Blaze Pizza, Frontera Fresco and a burger place are at least three of the new quick service offerings on the way, likely with a few others to-be-announced.

I don't think anyone has ever suggested the "kids" restaurants at DTD don't pull a crowd. However, the idea that the "adult" restaurants are always packed is just flat-out wrong. From someone who was there Thanksgiving Eve. And they're adding more.

Meanwhile, Earl of Sandwich, the last affordable quick-serve left, has lines out the door. That's the target market here.

What do you consider kid? Because Fulton house, rainforest, dino, and the Irish place always seem to have a wait when I am there. Now I am normally there weekends or weeknights.

I think the East is always packed and weSt not so much. But I think with more offerings all around it will spread the crowds around. Closing of pleasure island stuff really made it lopsided causing issues.

Are those confirmed by Disney or part of the leaked slide show? Sorry this was happening all parallel to DA opening and I sort of wasn't paying attention lol

Blaze and Frontera Fresco are confirmed by Disney. The burger place has been seen in permits and on a recent vicinity plan for the Lilly Pulitzer store, as posted by a member on that other magical site...

I have stood in that line many times! I really love the biscuitish bread they make their sandwiches with.

Blaze Pizza, The Burger Shop, Raglan Road is going to be building a quick serve right next to RR, Morimoto has a quick service area set to open in the spring, etc. There's a few more too, but I can't remember what they are.

Awesome, thanks! I hear great things about Blaze (LeBron owns a stake in it, @BriMan ;) ) and I hope the burger place is some place like Smashburger or a quick service version of B-Spot/Flip Side/The Rail from Cleveland (or please please be first east coast location of In n Out!).

I still pray that Melt Bar & Grilled comes to Disney Springs or CityWalk.

The quick service by Reglan is open now, are they redoing it?

I believe you are referring to Cookes of Dublin, correct? They are not redoing it.

There's a plot of land right next to that complex (facing Hangar Bar for reference) that will have a Quick serve by the owners of Raglan.

Gotcha that makes sense. We thought about eating at Cookes when there was a wait at RR but the prices were not the best and there was no tables to eat at (it was raining). So we waited for RR.

Unconfirmed reports (rumors?) are flying around on WDW Magic that the NBA Restaurant deal is dead.

Unless the state of Florida has banned Universal from selling chocolate, I cannot fathom why there was ever a "deal" or why the general idea would be dead. It doesn't make sense to me.

This is in reference to the NBA Restaurant moving into the Disney Quest building at Disney Springs.

Lol teebin

Personally glad the deal is dead. I don't think one sport restaurants are a good idea. People won't go in if they are not as into that sport.

They should just turn the thing into an ESPN Zone (not to.be confused with ESPN Club on the boardwalk) like they have out in Disneyland.

I've heard the same.

“We’re excited to join the NBA in offering this unique form of family entertainment,” said Bob Chapek, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. “It will be a terrific addition to the world-class lineup of shops and restaurants coming to Disney Springs.”

Talking seriously for a minute, I'm not sure why anyone ever took things to phases "3 & 4" anyway.

IMO, "Phase 1" is TSL and SWL. Any expansions thereafter would be "Phase 2".

How can something opening in two different years be the same phase. That doesn't even make sense.

Why not? The first phase is the first set of projects. A phase is normally just a set a projects that happened to become official or internally planned at the same time.

Take The MCU for example. All of phase three became planned at the same time.
