12 I think is good, especially as others said the majority are E tickets or "major" attractions in the very least. Mario Kart, Monsters, 2 FB rides, and HTTYD flight simulator should be more than enough for a day or 2 worth's visit. Those are just for the people who do the "big rides", they're also likely to do the hub coaster. I think the scale of these rides are just simply going to be larger or on the scale of FJ so there's going to be puhlenty to do here. Also parks are always expanding, so can't expect a completed project on day 1.

Also should remind you that two other worlds (SNW and UCM) have multilevel lands, so they have much more space than you may initially realize.

12 with IOA when it first opened is what shocks me. I'm of the same opinion as you JS...12 seems a bit low.

I'm not saying this next thought as a bad thing, but I am surprised they're going so far in on HTTYD. Seems like the biggest land (thus far) with the most rides.

HTTYD has two flat rides though. It only has two substantial rides, so that's on par with the rest of the lands in the park.

I think, personally, that's because it's the property that lends itself most to rides. It's a franchise *about* riding things, and has already had large scale stadium shows to base tech off of for its show. Most of it is just ready made.

Anyone hear anything about what the show will consist of? Always thought if they did a show the building it was in would be like that of the arena from the movies but I feel like indoors works better due to the Florida weather. Hyped!

The only area currently competing with that is SNW. The interactivity may not be counted but considering the boss battles seem to be something more than just a brief walk thru, id add the power up band play areas to SNW. Giving us:

- Yoshi
- Mario Kart
- Play areas
- Interactive gaming throughout the land
- Boss Battles
- and if it ever happens which I'm kinda doubting since it wasn't in the permits, Super Smash Bros show. Pretty comparable Imo and clearly shows this park wants to cater a little bit more towards families.

New parks generally are a bit conservative on actual 'rides', since they want to leave room for expansions and it takes a few years to build attendance. Even a huge park like Shanghai was actually a bit low on actual rides, and so was Hong Kong, both Castle parks. That said, I think we'll see some additional flats/carousels/etc. in the Hub since it's a themed 'land' for all intents and purposes in this scheme. So, maybe a couple more than 12 when it's all said and done.

The "Smash Bros" show was technically in the permits, but it wasn't a show. @Alicia was saying that it could be a Pokemon gym.

Once DK opens I can't imagine there won't be a DK and DKjr band available for purchase. I want a Koopa Troopa one anyways lol

Anyone have a gues on the DK ride story? Haven’t played the games, is the area this game is based on implying a specific event? Or king k rool presence? Or is this area just kinda based on the areas from the games in general

I'd imagine it won't have much of a detailed story. Probably just Diddy or Donkey inviting us to go on a wild mine cart ride
