The minions are absolutely terrifying. There's countless numbers of them and their capacity for both ingenuity and sheer cruelty to both their own species and others is basically limitless. If they ever gained ambition beyond being worker bees or some sort of advanced intelligence, they (in both normal and mutated forms) could absolutely be part of a terrifying comedic-yet-played-straight maze where they revolt against Gru and humanity and torture everyone with horrifically inventive gadgets in a classic "creatures revolt against their creator" narrative.

The minions will outlast us. Nuclear winter could descend over the smoldering wastes of humanity's creations and the next movie will still make a billion at the box office.

Ridiculous? Mmmmkay. Not sure what you mean by that. I was just making an observation. I didn't see "everyone" making the same comment. Maybe I missed it. Whatever.

As in that people are bring up they made an announcement on this day last year so we should have more this year. Also I wasn’t calling her ridiculous.

Yeah, but it still feels like a giant risk. One I can strongly respect if true!

Personally, I think PG-13 would be riskier for a Horror film. You wanna sell it beyond just the hardcore fans.

Huh? Sooooo many movies that should've been rated R have been watered down to PG-13 to make that extra $.

FNAF remains very popular with children and teens. There is a ridiculous amount of toys and merchandise sales that come from it. I really do not believe they will go for an R rating for this film.

No idea what’s gonna happen with the fnaf film but generally if you want something to have a bigger audience and thus have less risk to it you make it PG13. I’ll admit fnaf is not something I’m particularly knowledgeable of but from what I’ve seen it’s fanbase is more on the young side especially for a horror property. So PG13 would seemingly be the wiser move here in that regard as well.

For action movies and such, yes.

However, I didn’t realize how many good horror films were PG-13 until I just googled haha so I may have misspoke about the risk.

Either way, this is the HHN thread so this should go to FNAF
