Who? Where? I’ve never even heard of this game.
It was an IGN article from last November.
I watch a lot of game related stuff so I remember when it was first revealed before the PS5 and Xbox Series even came out.

Also plenty of the reviews mention the “controversy” in one way or another.

Indiana Jones coming to PS5. I’m so happy I didn’t buy an Xbox as my second console and went with the Steam Deck instead lol.
I will now wait to see if there’s a port from Panic Button for the Switch 2. If not I’ll have to hope this is compatible with the Deck. If not again, at least I’ll still have my nice portable with easy emulation capability.

Black Myth Wukong is a roaring success despite journalists best efforts just like last year with Hogwarts Legacy.

I don’t have interest in the game myself but I’m loving this all the same.
JK is a horrible person today that would probably hate herself if her past self knew what her current self was. Hogwarts legacy success is not an endorsement of her as a person, it is an endorsement of the brand. Harry Potter is bigger than JK can try to take it from everyone with her hate. Most all of the brand was established before JK was a Twitter addict transphobic pos.

What best efforts.
This game is about 80 percent Chinese players and 7 percent US while being made by a Chinese studio and some people want to assign American media critics as taking some sort of L as to the success of the game against their criticisms as a way to validate their minority opinions.

If that 7% is correct then 700,000 copies in a few days isn’t bad at all for a foreign game from a new studio to the US.

The game has sold 10,000,000 total copies btw.

Oof. Can’t say I’m surprised though. People are getting sick of unoriginal trend chasing and this game was clearly attempting to rip off GotG and Overwatch since it’s apparently been in development for 8 years. It’s going to be glorious to see this game get curb stomped by AstroBot which was announced at the same exact event and got a much better reception. I hope that one comes to the Steam Deck eventually. Looks fun.

Also this is another win for gamers that are sick of so many live services being pushed.

I never like to see a game fail, peoples livelihood are on stake and no one sets out to make a bad game. As far as this type of games go I heard the gameplay is solid but the rest is lacking originality.
I have no love for MP/GAAS games but I pre-ordered Astro bot as the free Astro Bot game that came with the PS5 is a hoot. Not sure if this Nintendo like game is deemed a PC contender for the future but who knows, I for sure am looking forward to play it.
PlayStation's effort in MP games looks like the failed rehash from PS3 and fortunately they steered away from that quickly to continue making the single player games that I love.

Yeah it sucks but this is how everything works. You win some you lose some. I’m more against the publishers that push live services. The market can only handle so many “forever games” and you need to have something really unique to gain your spot. Concord wasn’t it. Maybe it would’ve been if it came out a few years ago.

True. I'm glad they canceled 6 (shocking waist of money and time but thankfully they can do what they are good at now) and the CEO was kicked out. Helldivers 2 at least made it's money back. Anyway, looking forward to Star Wars Outlaws and 2 weeks later Astro Boy, good times.

We’ll see how Outlaws does. Reactions to one of the latest trailers seemed tepid at best and there seems to already be signs of bugs. Ubisoft just can’t catch a break these days.

I always watch ACG for a honest review and we match mostly about the things we like and his review is what I was expecting and am happy with.

I'll grab outlaws when its on sale

Looks fine but seems like some tech issues and its like a 10/10 game more a fun star wars game

2 weeks and the game is going offline and everyone is getting a refund. This has to be one of the biggest admissions of failure in the history of video games.

This is on Sony they had numbers for months...they knew this was going to happened and then let it. Should have been F2P from the start

Hell Marvel Rivals is free....if you think people are going to stop playing Apex, Overwatch, Fortnite to buy an game just like them but looks like it has less content...your crazy.

Only Nintendo can get away with that, lol

No, the blame goes on the people who saw this game and then PURCHASED THE STUDIO MAKING IT THINKING IT WOULD BE A HIT o_O

Also are you referring to Splatoon with that last bit? I never played it myself.

haha kinda

Nintendo can just get away with trying things but Sony....Ubiosft and so on its hard for them to really get away with it

Also I will say while Spatoon at times could be light on some online content, its a very very fun game and only thing I never liked was the times for certain maps vs having all maps going at once like most online MP games

You could say ARMS is a game that didn’t really hit it off but it also wasn’t a $200 million + budgeted game lol
