Front of the park, the resort's newest attraction ticket and a hot property going into the busy summer time for the park. An hour plus easily for a good while.

Also Fear Factor live will be going down before too long after it officially opens so that will cause there to be more people roaming for something to do or waiting on things to do in the park.

It also does not help that it is one of the lower end capacity attractions to a certain degree. That being said there should be an improvement in both flow and entertainment with the new pre-show layout.

I had no idea FFL was going down. What's going on with that?

Well in that case I just hope it opens with express then. I really don't want to wait an hour. I will if I have to at the beginning.

Jimmy Neutron used to get 120 minute waits during busy times (as did Shrek 4D at one time) and I imagine Despicable Me to be a much wider-reaching property than that.

It really needs a new show. Does anyone know how the Fear Factor did when it returned to NBC?

eta: NBC cancelled Fear Factor yet again. Come on Uni, something new please!

It always goes down near the end of the Summer season for HHN. Really nothing new but it is likely to happen a little bit earlier this year as they will now have Despicable Me open and need to get crackin on HHN's first night on September 21st.

Notice I said shortly(which is somewhat relative of a term but I meant the same summer) after it officially opens. So I mean more in the sense of July/August.

And yes, we can only hope it is to finally never return, and more importantly. For another show to go in its place.

Another idea is to keep an eye out for those early admission dates for Annual Passholders. There was a notice sent out that teased the fact that Annual Passholders will get early ride access during certain dates.

I hope they let AP holders get early access when it opens and not a month after. I've never been to an AP preview for a new attraction. just for HHN houses. (i went to wizarding world a month after it opened)

Let me just say that my trip to orlando has cost me currently and my fiance about £6500 in total that's with flights, hotels, park tickets, spending money, food money, etc. So with todays current exchange rate that will be a grand total of $10,273. Really? Then you have to consider the flight length along with the other travelling.

Furthermore I doubt that DM will have fast-pass for a long time yet.

It has been built with Express Pass, but then so was RRR and FJ. But I do believe this is an attraction that will open with Express Pass.

So what's the current projection for softs? I'm visiting next weekend (Memorial Day) and am assuming it'll still be closed due to the oil spill delay. I have an AP though and am interested when I should plan on returning to catch this.

I have been to two. Soarin and Everest. DREADFUL! Soarin was a 160 minute wait, and the line for Everest was all the way across the bridge by the Nemo show. I said screw it on Everest and enjoyed the rest of the park instead. It is an eye opener to see how many AP holders take advantage of the previews.

DISASTER opened with Express, and that was just an overlay.

I for some reason guessed they didn't put fast passes on new attractions just due to making people wait even longer in the queues. I think that's what someone at Rockit told me when I first went with a fastpass. But I suppose it benefits me as I normally get a fastpass on our second trip back

Funny about Forbidden Journey apparently having no Express Pass, even though I actually used Express Pass on that ride back on my last trip in August 2010! :look:

Ok, I'll take the hook. In what way did you use an Express Pass on FJ when that is not possible?

It's possible he got a ride breakdown complimentary Express Pass. When Rockit went down (with us on it) due to a vomiting incident, we received a complimentary single use pass printed on receipt paper. It was explicitly noted on that pass that it COULD be used on both Forbidden Journey and Rockit.

^ And how exactly did they get you to the front of the line? Were you escorted?

I can also verify that I used express once for FJ. We had a E-stop. The lights went on, the Kukas were put in a default position and when we exited, we were given one-time passes that allowed us back on FJ.

i can vouch for this. on two different occasions while at the park ive had random guests that were leaving give me paper/receipt express passes that specifically said they were valid at FJ and RRR.

i went to the greeter at the entrance to the ride and they sent me down the express line on my way.

also that said if you complain to guest services (via email) about something they will offer you a few paper fastpasses.
