In case anyone didn't realize, those are new Minion costumes. They weren't being used at the dance party as of Wednesday.

What have the lines been like during the day? I got into the park and in line at around 9:50PM when I rode and waited 10 minutes.

WOW every time I go it says 45 minute wait but actually only wait about 30 minutes.

Every time I rode it, minus my first which was at park opening, was posted as an hour long wait, but actually was only around 45 to 50 minutes long.

In the day during tech rehearsals, I've seen the wait as high as 75-90 minutes before. Lucky for me on that day I had my complimentary express pass.

I would kill for a POV of this... I'm not going to make it to the parks for at least another year and there is no way I can hold out that long!

Believe you me, I am JUST as anxious to get an on-ride POV as you are, but it's not gonna happen during technical rehearsals, as they are super-ultra-mega-mondo-extremely strict about no photos/video in the main theater (there are videos of the preshow videos, though). If you really want to see a POV, you'll have to wait until after the ride's official opening on July 2nd when they won't be as strict as they are right now.

I enjoyed the takeover thoroughly, though I'll admit, having a new post in my Facebook feed every two minutes was hard to follow at times...

Rode it tonight, wait time posted at 45 but only waited 25. The queue: entertaining video outside, surprisingly big and detailed inside. The ride: My expectations were low due to the fact that this is basically Neutron upgraded, and I HATED Neutron, but it was a lot better than I thought. I did get a little dizzy, but it's true that the ride system is now a lot less jerky. Let's hope they keep it that way. The ride's storyline was very well presented, and I liked how it was so different from the movie. The ending to the ride was especially satisfying, but the dance pary was quite awkward with just one guy in a minion suit and 20 people standing there looking like they had to fart. Anyway, 8/10 from me.
