Maybe I missed it, but is there a date or an estimate of WHEN in 2014 Despicable Me is to open?  Trying to figure out if we should plan to experience it in March or not.  Thanks and I'm sorry if I missed it.

We're not sure, but they may be doing soft openings in March.

I could barely see it but was the background facade the yellow piece? Is that what you were referring to?

I really hope that it's gonna look nice but I have a feeling we're gonna see a lot of 2D cutouts...

Also, I hope they blend in the Minion Mayhem exit into SSFL somehow, because for now it just looks plain and blue and too much like T2 still.

Looks like Minion Mayhem has an internal name: Project 172.

Was that what I saw Chris? I thought it looked like a round layout for the spinner! Its location made sense too, so I hope the spinner is still on.

That sure looks round to me in the back.  That is where we expect it to go.  Thoughts?  Someone please keep an eye on this area.

I'm wondering if the bonus items if the spinner got cut is a more expansive quene line for Minion Mayhem. Mabye. Mabye not...

^ that would be impossible considering the location of the proposed spinner is nowhere near the queue. Unless I misunderstood you and you meant the spinner's budget being spent on making the queue more detailed and interesting? If so, that also probably wouldn't happen, as the queue should be pretty detailed anyway and has it's own plans and budget i would assume. I would think if the spinner got cut that the budget for it would go to other aspects of SSFL. Either way, I hope it didn't get cut.

Well sh#%.................... I know last minute things can come up and issues with the infrastructure may arise, but I really wish Universal would check things thoroughly before they advertise something is coming but then kill it.

Wouldn't be the first time Uni's done this.

Remember the "stunning robotics" that were planned for Transformers? That ride took so long to build that a lot of people sort of forgot about it.

Didn't they also mention that there was going to be fire on the Mummy?
