I have heard that, SURPRISE, the AquaCars are a dud. Hours are being cut for captains. I hope it stays around for the pure energy it brings, but it ain't looking good guys.

That's so shocking. The price was so reasonable. :look:

I just saw an aerial of the DS Town Center construction. Did they eat up all of the east side parking lot for that? My goodness, I had no idea that was happening.

It's the former PI parking lot. The Market Place lot is where the new garage is being built on that side.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

In April we thought about going on one, but when you come back the parade you around on the turntable getting people to wave at you. How embarrassing!

I think the cost was so astronomical that there was no way this could work. Who wants to pay $125 for a boat ride? I went on a 5 night cruise for a little less than $100 more than that, back in January. $10 pp would be much more reasonable.

Oh yeah, that cruise included a $100pp ship board credit, so essentially, I took a 5 night cruise for $6 less than a, what, 20 minute boat ride around that lake.

The AquaCars are pretty cool and I would consider it, but NOT at that price!

Seriously Disney!?!?!?! This is total horse hockey. They had a potential gold mine with that place and just squandered it. (I really would love for these prior sentences to have much stronger language so please feel free to improvise in your head)

It still could be brought back to its heyday, but instead just demo it for the worst performing restaurant at CityWalk. Meanwhile there are plenty of under-performing restaurants and shops and plenty of empty space to do stuff with. I know lets tear down Cirque de Solei for a Frozen Forest Cafe. For the life of me it feels like Disney is looking at all aspects of everything and taking the worst path possible on each and every one of them.

I don't think they're going to miss it seeing as NBA will be paying them tens of thousands of dollars for rent AND Disney gets a % of revenue.

That's what Disney Springs is all about - Disney doing nothing but playing landlord and raking in the cash.

Oh I'm sure they won't miss it one bit. It just frustrates me...
I wonder if the Top Tier AP's will be coming down in price since they are losing one of the "Parks" that they are entitled to go to.... I kid I kid, we all know they'll increase the price instead.

I'm surprised, Disney Quest had so much potential and it was unique. Hopefully they save all the interactive equipment and re-purpose it somewhere else. Would perhaps be a good fit in Epcot.

You'll never see a price decrease. Maybe you'll just see a smaller price increase next year.

DisneyQuest died months after it was born. It just languished for another 17 years...

If Disney gave DQ an' upgrade/overhaul and made it more like Sega Joypolis/Republic in Japan and Dubai, they probably could've kept it going and given it new life.

But unfortunately they kept it the same with no major updates for years so yeah, it died.

Disney could've tried reaching out to Sony or Microsoft to promote their VR tech. That definitely would've brought some new life to the place. I still can't believe DQ is still utilizing that old 90's VR tech in there. What an embarrassment.

Just for fun last night I asked the girls to rank their favorite Disney Parks, I was pretty surprised by their answers but have to say I was kind of proud.

So I know Uni has the marvel contract for the parks, but is there language keeping Disney from turning DQ into a Stark expo of some kind?
