USH has exceptional service for guests because they know that this is one way to outshine Disney. Although, I heard of a story where that sort of service has gone overboard....literally. Someone I know who worked the Simpsons Ride mentioned how many guests (Most likely the foreign tourists), will get TERRIFIED when the ride starts. I've heard several reports of them jump out of the ride vehicle while the car is going up out of fear and land on the hidden platform above the loading room. In turn of their stupid thinking, they get a free drink voucher after they E-stopped the ride.

As for the Disney service, I think they're mentality is, "We're Disney. Deal with it."

so.... MiceChat has come back about the FrozenFun. and saying that *if its true*; Most of HollywoodLand will go for this. It would entail, the Animation building getting frozened with Meet&Greets in Turtle Talks lobby, the Animation Academy would be drawing frozen Esclusively with in the large screen room, it would have a lot of Frozen bits. Over in Muppets and  Stage 17 as rumored, it would be turned into a show for Muppets and a Ice-skating rink for 17. I'll believe it when I see it.

*and this would be a temp not permanent*

Frozen needs to go away now. It's nearly been a year since the film actually came out.

It's not that Frozen should go away. Popular Disney movies will always be popular. It's just the temporary overlays and overload of merchandise is driving me nuts. It's just too much attention.

Big Hero 6 4D Exclusive Sneak Peek confirmed.

http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2014/09/sneak-preview-of-big-hero-6-coming-to-disneyland-park-september-25/

I thought Captain EO would return after GOTG, but I guess not.

As dated as EO is, I'd love to see it digitally restored and take advantage of the digital system they installed for the Guardians preview.

MiceChat has rumors again about DCA and DL.. here's the two I really want to talk about.

*Luigi's Flying Tires would close in January for a all new attraction called 'Luigi's Festival of the Dance' and it would keep the old tire showcase and indoor line and would use Technology of Wifi controlled systems that was used for rides like Pooh's Hunny hunt, Mystic manor and Ratatouille and would open for a December 2015.

*Frozen would be given a lot of treatment at 'HollywoodLand' and its Photo op for Anna and Elsa would move from Disneyland to the exit of Character Close Up with the Fastpass system now put into usage or reservations only.

Now.. Luigis I am going to look into as I am interested in this if this will be Disneys first try at this ride tech for the US market with something small and not gradually. I can say from my Disneyland source, it is true. Whole Heart; frozen winter fun is about real and after the winter they will keep the meet and greet permenant with the FP system and.. I do want to talk a little more about Muppets but that I am going to reserve for now..

Luigi's Flying Tires has always been somewhat of a dud for me. The concept seems cool on paper, but in practice, the entire attraction seems really odd - like a temporary ride meant to holdover that space until its replacement comes in.

Yeah, I never enjoyed it. Very cool concept, but not with the technology limitations.

Didn't Disney come out and say awhile back that there would be technological upgrades to the ride to enhance the interactive experience?

^ Now that would be interesting. I'm not sure what they could do to make it more interactive. Add screens in front of the tires?

Not sure, but I could've sworn I read on the Disney Blog awhile back that they planned on upgrading the ride to compensate for the loss of the infamous beach balls.

Yeah, I remember they made a small statement after they removed the beach balls (which I honestly enjoyed) and said they'd add another interactive element soon. We'll see I guess.

Has anyone seen this year's Winter Dreams yet?

I just watched a video. They cut about I want to say a third of the show for more Frozen, unsurprisingly. It's not as good as last year's version, but still the usual spectacular that WoC puts on.

I still haven't seen World of Color, let alone Winter Dreams. In addition, I'm also a passholder. I think that qualifies me as crazy.

It's a second thread in one day you've called yourself crazy, William. I think you might need to see a theme park therapist dressed as Mickey Mouse and talks like the Minions ;)

You NEED to see WoC. You'll love it.

I can't wait to see the Winter Dreams in a week or so. Bummed there's more Frozen (I love frozen but I'm over it to the max), but apparently the pace of the show is a lot more tight now and is overall better, so I can't wait :) World of Color is such a ridiculously amazing spectacle. One of the best technological entertainment experiences anywhere.

Hopefully, they can have their own permanent meet and greet in the future.

It is beyond me why they haven't started yet on a Marvel land of some sort at DCA. It needs to happen. I really want that Marvel coaster rumor to be true.
