I just tried to look at the prices of the UO hotels for the weekend and it looks like the site is overloaded. Wonder how quick they will make it to
Capacity this weekend?

Knowing how crazy this fanbase can be I'm really worried people are gunna crowd and and be obnoxious and make it look really bad on universal for trying this.

I've heard there are four houses being readied with the plan to alternate between the two announced and two others.

Maybe all four being available if warranted or if they can manage the staffing?

Moving this post over here, since I'm sure it'll understandably get discussed to death.

Like we've all been saying, they don't know how to market this and they don't know what to expect. They're playing it safe and marketing it as "testing this weekend" for now, but Team Members are in fact scheduled for quite a few weekends in a row at the very least. I'd keep the expectations low and in check just to be safe because you never know how this weekend will go.

I’m kind if worried about guest response to VL. This is the first, new thing that has very high demand and very low capacity that will use this system which has no defined “guidelines” other than random distribution throughout the day.

It's the only way to do it, but there will be Unleash the Villains levels of carnage.

***If it makes it past testing I was really hoping for a weekday offering - but thinking about staffing this may have been an unrealistic expectation. If it’s going to be hard to staff on weekends it’s hard to see them being able to do weekdays as well.

IF they were going to do it 7 days per week, they would need 4 casts per house because two casts (which alternate on/off) can't go 7 days in a row for 6 weeks without giving up their entire lives and becoming mentally strained and physically strained. One week of 7 days in a row is rough, never mind a month and a half.

Either all VQ passes will become available at opening, or they’ll be distributed throughout the day similar to Hargrid’s. So, if I were you, I’d be at the front gate at least an hour before opening. This announcement plus UOR’s “social distancing guidelines” equals clusterf—.

Hearing from people that had rehearsal today saying the entrance to brides is a crumbled destroyed castle taking place right after the movie. Lots of female roles. Apparently the brides of Dracula fly at you a lot. And the end of the house she gets Frankenstein’s monster back to life, and there’s lots of him! Also house scares will be fully behind plexiglass, some being from the chest up only.
