I did not see a RHPS forum so I figured I would put this here for everyone (this was posted elsewhere originally by a user named figment1988):
"just to let everyone know. I received information that this year, there will be a zero tolerance policy of any foul language. This means that any callback that uses any profanity will lead to expulsion from the theatre. Looks like they're going to crack down on all callbacks along with last year's callbacks involving rape and molestation, and they're going all out to ensure that there's strong censorship enforcement."
It was backed up elsewhere by a user named kiwisoup:
"There was an interview where the guy asked her directly about the call-backs and people being reprimanded for obscenities to find out if they were going to communicate with security more so that they wouldn't wrongly kick people out just doing what they are supposed to.
Her response was slightly hostile and she appeared visually agitated and defensive about it, insisting that Rocky Horror at a midnight showing and at a "PG-13" amusement park are completely different and that they basically will continue address obscenities, although she did say they did increase communication so that security has very clear instructions over what is ok and what is not."
My current thoughts are, that's one less show I have to bother with this year. We have a first timer attending with us this year so I had sort of resigned myself to the fact that I would be seeing RHPS again (even though I really did not want to) but I know he would not be happy with how this is being handled.
It looks like it's time to get a new tribute show...
Off the top of my head: Little Shop of Horrors, Repo the Genetic Opera, The Devil's Carnival, Toxic Avenger: The Musical, or Evil Dead: The Musical (the last two are real, look them up). DO IT, UNIVERSAL, DO IT NOW!
