It's a codename, and doesn't necessarily have to be that obvious. But Halloween is rumored for both UOR and USH, so there could be where the "synergy" tie in comes. Also HALLOWEEN Horror Nights.

Thats a good point. I always thought they shouldve included Michael Myers in 2007...definitely a haunted house I think a lot of people would be excited about and is in spirit with whats hopefully a trend of bringing back classics for houses, starting wit AWiL last year. Should be interesting

Current intel has me changing the name of Tent 2. Here is the updated list (according to Legacy at HNN)

Crows = Parade
Charlie = Tent1
Captain = Tent 2 (IP?)
Smile = Disaster!
Evac/Synergy = 24 a/b (IPs)
TWD = 25 (IP)
Ritual = 22A (if thast hasn't changed as well)

SS 25 can not be used for the simple fact it houses The Dave School. The SS has been transformed into a school having 2 floors sound booths down stairs upstairs rendering farm and class room with computers and downstairs has half of the sound stage with a green screen. I reached out to the Dave School and asked for the location and they said "we are located in sound stage 25 at Universal Orlando". Unless Universal is planning on kicking them out and demoing the school this will not happen. I don't even see a permit for SS25....

Bye Dave School! Where they are and where they soon won't be are one in the same.

I am not saying you are wrong, but Teebin seems to disagree with you. I have heard SS25 from a few other sources, but there are still no permits so I guess I have nothing to back it up with. If I am wrong, oh well, we all know TWD is coming anyways and that the other confirmed locations are not that, so I guess it does not really matter.

I've heard Crows = Croatoan and Ritual = Dracula. If Home is indeed gone, I would say Synergy is indeed Halloween.

I don't think Home is gone... and even if the codename is, the initial spec for it was pretty on point.

Ritual isn't Dracula, unless something's changed in the last 24 hours.

You saying the IP lineup is perplexing makes me think we are way off on one of our guesses. The logic behind having two or three solid IPs and one or two that are basically for marketing (Dracula) makes sense. It has even been done in the past (2009 most notably). The fact that you are saying it is perplexing has me nervous that our spec is off.
So if Ritual is not Dracula, I am still guessing that is the boogeyman house or at least an original house.
The big question to me right now is, if we have 4 IPs and we already know TWD, Evac, and Synergy are three of those, which codename is the 4th?

I don't think one of the presumably headliner IPs will be quite as "classic" as you're thinking... but in essence I agree.

I think Universal realized last year a classic IP has a following just as much as a new one (AWIL)...It feels like this year has a 70's/80's motif going on

Not just for Transformers anymore. This code name is rumored to be an Alien vs Predator themed maze. Take with a grain of salt.
TWD – SS25
The Walking Dead, no real need for a code name when you announce the house in June. Largest HHN house to date.
Charlie – Tent 1
Living dolls roam this house.
Halloween – Tent 2
Universal Hollywood has done this before and I know Orlando has been itching to tackle the project. Michael Myers in Orlando!
Crows – Parade Building
This haunted house ventures into a reverse thanksgiving scenario. Thankskilling rather
Ritual – SS22
Nothing screams Legendary Truth like a ritual gone bad. Bad things happened here, something awful lives under the bed.
Synergy – SS24
Dracula’s untold story in the form of a haunted maze. This could be good.
Smile – Disaster Queue
Clowns aren’t born, they’re made. Expect to see a Jack cameo in this house.

I wish there was a way to get H.R. Bloodengutz in Thankskilling. Even if there's just a picture of him hidden on some wall somewhere haha. Anyhow, I think going by what this list has correct, this year has the potential to be incredible. Its definitely the type of lineup I've been waiting for. And we still don't officially know the scare zones yet. If they execute this all right, we should be some very happy fans.

Based on this, I have to guess we have an 'inspired by' house that we are currently listing as an IP (ex: Demon Cantina vs. From Dusk Til' Dawn). It is either that or the house lineup is in flux. What could have changed/may be changing?
