Me likey... If this is correct, it would be the first original proper space/sci-fi house since 2008's Interstellar Terror.

We haven’t had a proper Chucky house since 2009, which was very underrated in a good year for houses. The event’s approach to SFX has also evolved a great deal since then, so I’m very excited to see what they come up with.

A space house would also be cool. Haven’t had an original one since Interstellar Terror, I think.

As someone who has a lot of insight into how Blumhouse makes its movies… there is no chance in hell FNAF comes out this year. Shutting that down now. It would be dated if it were. Even if they finish the shoot by April/May, there will be months of post, a round of test screenings, more post, probably reshoots, more test screenings, more post. They’re going to be careful with this one.

Credit goes to Luke Fouyer on Discord. If you look at the Anchor on the spec map, and flipped it upside, It is reference to some type of cross or an arrow and a snake, which resembles healing in Greek mythology and during the Middle Ages. The Anchor itself might also be a reference to Poseidon the god of the sea and his trident. We had Hades at 20, so maybe we could see more Greek deities getting their own houses in the future.

Agreed on all counts, and a very good thing to mention with FNaF, Matthew Lillard confirmed he has a three-picture deal. Chances are it's a multi-picture option where the fate of the 2nd & 3rd films depend on how well the 1st one does. Add in the sheer fact this film has been in development hell for quite some time, there's no doubt Blumhouse is being careful and not rushing it.

I was in the camp of believing they'd never attempt an 11th house. It's the staffing. I just don't understand how they could have all these houses fully staffed with scareactors later in the season. With burnout and turnover being an issue, It's going to be reaaaalllll interesting to see if they can pull this off, if true.

Edit to add: Unless they're referring to Eleven from Stranger things.
