So, Catacombs being the possibility of the humor house. How will this work?

I don't think it's the Catacombs & if it's not the zombie house. Then it has to be Havoc.

Thoughts?

On the new confrence call they said PhycoScarepy will be darker. ZG is going to be silly at first but then gets serious. LT no. Hallowd Past no.And Hades no.
So that leaves Catacombs and Havoc.

Last I checked.. discussing the Horror Nights game, that is on the Horror Nights website, relates to Horror Nights XX. Please do not tell us to "to get back on topic" again, when it was very much "on topic", especially when the "Us" is the Staff.

But alas, you may continue your Catacombs speculation.

They said in the first confernce call that the Catacombs where based off the ones below Paris, France. So, then in that case....Universal HHN will be wanting to pull the horror out of the Catacombs than make a joke or humor house out of it.

Meanwhile with Havoc, this house hasn't been the most talked about alot and since they sayed the zombie house is a big turn-on-you house and not the humor house. Well, Havoc is the only house left to be the humor house.

EDIT: I have gone APE!!! :kingkong:

HHNRumors picked a map today from Guest Services which lists this year's attractions list. They are Simpsons, MIB:AA, RotM, Jaws and HRRR. Of course, HRRR is up in the air at this point but this confirms the other four attractions.

Here's that map: http://hhnrumors.com/hhnxxmap.jpg

Priority 1 for me every year is the SS Haunts followed by the parade building house, then Bill and Ted, then everything else. All depends on your personal tastes though.

SS stands for sound stage. There are always three houses in the sound stages. This year they are Psychoscareapy, Legendary Truth, and Hades. The parade building also houses a haunted house, which is Horror Nights: The Hallow'd Past. The reason these houses are so important is because the creators have a ton more space to work with here than in the other haunt locations, which typically causes these to be the standout houses. Hope this helps.

Edit: Sorry half my post got deleted when I was typing it but thankfully pat_naughty05 picked up the pieces. Below if your interested would be my game plan.

Upon entering the park at opening head directly to Hallow'd Past, always do Hallow'd past first as its exit will dump you off directly next to Catacombs entrance. Once you exit Catacombs it will dump you off about twenty feet from Havoc's entrance. After Havoc head towards Bill and Ted, if its showtime do it, if not then do the Orphanage then Bill and Ted. After you complete these two head towards disaster and hit up Zombiegheddon. Once your done hit up Psychoscarapy, then either Hades or LT which ever has the shortest line. Psycho, LT, and Hades all share the same exit area so doing Psycho first will generally cut back your backtracking. Always go to the back of the park first. Everyone else go's straight to the soundstage haunts and clogs up the lines. They also have staggered opening times and can really screw your night up. Any other questions dude let me know, I would be glad to try to help it make it a better trip for you.

No I will be there, that part got deleted. I was posting this as a plan for those who are not going to the preview. Just wondering though who else is going to the preview?

Ahh gotcha  That is a good plan of attack.

Personally I'm still undecided on the preview. I wanted originally to see the event unfold in the order of layout, but I just found out we're gonna have to leave a little early that night, so I'm leaning back towards doing the preview now...

Yeah I know what you mean, going counter clockwise through the event would of really been a great way to experience it but then again seeing the ENTIRE event rather than most of it equals it out.

Thanks, pat_naughty and hatetofly. :rep: for both of you. That all really helps. I wouldn't want to be totally lost in a huge haunted house jamboree. :look:

Thanks for that guide! However I feel that since I'm only going one night I should do the SS houses in case I run out of time later in the night.
Any thoughts on that?

If you are getting there at opening I assure you go to the back first, if anything skip Zombiegheddon on your way back to the SS Haunts. You will have enough time to accomplish it all if you follow the guide. Its been tested again and again non peak and peak and even during hell week as long as your there at opening.

I've found that starting in the back (Jaws/Parade) and working my way towards the front (SS) worked very well. Jaws usually gets the longest lines which is why I prefer to start there before it gets to bad.
