I don't post often but I thought about something. Why would Wet'N Wild open up Aqua Drag Racer if they're planning on closing the park in the next couple of years?

We're not certain that's currently in the plans anymore. And how much could the Drag Racer have cost?

Water slides, especially non-themed ones like AquaDrag, really aren't all that expensive. I'd imagine it's a stop gap measure until Wondersea/Volcano Bay/Whatever it's called opens

Yes. Cant get my pictures on here. From Right where I-4 is all the way past Major blvd. Both ways, Only allowing traffic in two lanes.

That wasn't starting until February (from my knowledge) and stopped at Kirkman with the Grand National Drive overpass. Didn't think it came further to Universal. I'll dig around when I go back today and see what I can find.

It was a thought at one time, I wouldn't be surprised either way honestly. Brain Wash was built as their lease was getting close to expiration. If you look at the construction, it's built entirely differently from the other rides nearby. Note that it's essentially bolted to the concrete pad they built for it, with a splash down that sits on top of the concrete instead of being embedded like just about every ride. This makes it incredibly easy to move, or even sell if the situation warranted. I'm not saying this is still the plan, but it was built with this in mind.

Teebs once hinted at there being a Tornado Wave at the new park, they are similar to this (regular tornado) but you go up just once and then down to the splash pool. Proslide is doing a lot of combos now as well, wouldn't surprise me Wondersea will see a couple of such rides, a Hydromagnetic mammoth and tornado wave combo would be sweet!
