I'm wondering if they just didn't want to share the spotlight this week with all the run up to the Inauguration and every news outlet covering it? I know there's news to compete with all the time, but the Inauguration is definitely dominating the headlines this week and could bury any announcement made. Maybe next week?

If E.T. is closed in October it will cast a pall over my entire trip. I know it's not personal, but sometimes it feels like Universal has it in for me! "Oh, what's that? You're looking forward to riding the final remaining piece of your USF childhood? Sucks for you!"

My parents always loved this ride. It's one of the only rides my mom can actually ride at the park, this and Kong. The rest spin too much or are too rough for her back.
