Didn't somebody insist they were going to use the Hanna-Barbera / Minions ride system?

Apparently that isn't happening.

Think closer to Minions than Soarin or Avatar.

I have no idea how long the attraction will be, but going by the capacity, I would think that 5 minutes is close to correct. 144 people every 5 minutes ain't super duper.

The original design discussed earlier talked about 2 show theatres. Is this still the case?

This has been a rumor that has reared it's head in recent months. I have NO idea what the sources are so I am sticking with my sources and what I know and what I have seen.

could they have two theaters?

Yes, I think the screens are as wide as the original show building; the addition to the show building (where the disaster queue/pre-show used to be) might also be where the queue / preshow are for Jimmy Fallon, just all indoors. The second screen could be on the opposite wall/side of the show building as the one you can currently see from the front.

This is how I THINK it's going to work, I have NO INSIDE INFORMATION other than stuff I've read here and some common sense.

The green box is the addition to the current show building we have seen go up thanks to someone's helicopter pictures posted here previously.
The blue lines are the general flow for each theater from the pre-show area, to each theater, then to the presumed gift shop we've seen built where the old bathrooms were.
The red lines are the two screens for the two theaters.

Maybe Teebin can chime in on this? I don't know how to tag a user so if anyone could help me out, thanks!

How long do we expect this to be? Shrek 4d is 12 minutes, Minion Mayhem is 5 minutes. Terminator 2 3D is 12 minutes. Simpson is 5 minutes.

If they want to have any sort of good hourly capacity, it will need to be 5 minutes or so. With only 2 theatres, it's comparable to Simpsons in the amount of people it will likely push through per hour.

I'm curious how elaborate the pre-show is. A long pre-show could up the hourly capacity significantly.

The way the queues have been on recent additions coupled with the latest description of the attraction from Uni I would fully expect a decent length pre-show.

From what I have seen, it is quiet elaborate. I am hoping very art deco.

The pre-show sounds fairly interactive. Will there be standard queuing or will it be more like a free space a la the rooms prior to the theater in many of Disney's 3D shows and T2?

Also it's just a big, 72-seat simulator box, yes? Slightly tiered so that it looks like Jimmy's usual audience pen but rises up, "flies" towards a curved, tall screen. That way it's a "flying theater", because the house appears to fly out of the recreated studio.

The theater will be flat to start if it is the same ride system.

I have no idea how the queue will be set up. Early ideas were for queueless, however, there were decisions made for the Kong queue that have not come to pass as I expected. With Kong, I assumed it was a marketing device maybe sorta kinda. I never really knew what it was about.

From the description to me it kind of felt like the old Hitchcock post show thing. I hope that's how it is and if so I'm imagining a big open area with all the elements available to experience as you want.

I hope this beats Kong's record as the longest attraction at USO. Come on 7 minutes!

When I said "tiered" I meant the same way as in stadium seating (but not quite as stacked), not literal higher rows much like Despicable Me and Simpsons. Europe in the Air, Star Tours and other simulator attractions have similar layouts.

They call Jimmy Fallon monologues the "finger of god"; few have stared one in the face and survived.

You know there's a great merchandising opportunity here if they make home versions of all the games he plays on the show.

I have to personally think that the Preshow will clock at around 2/3 and a half minutes while the main attraction at best goes to four minutes and 50 seconds.

I suffer Jimmy Fallon's self indulgence just to get to Seth Myer's acerbic sarcasm. Last night, Seth pulled an amazing verbal machine gun talking so fast that I was dazzled. He makes me laugh out loud.

Was flicking through the channels earlier and Was surprised to stumbled across the Jimmy Fallon show, first time I've really took time out to watch it, although ten minutes was enough lol. I wasn't even aware it aired over here.

Was interesting to see the studio, the set and the audience and try and piece together what parts will be part of the attraction, I presumed the ride would be made up of those red seats.

Even though the show wasn't my cup of tea I found Jimmy came across as a fun , likable guy and can see why uni would use him to front a ride.

The biggest thing that jumped out at me though was the fantastic opportunity for cross promotion, I would never have stopped and watched I'd it wasn't for the ride and this will work vice versa. What a chance to push the brand , something Walt did to his advantage all those years ago.
