I was excited for this but after seeing the ride system in action, I've lost most of my excitement for this.

It's just too much of the same old thing.

You can still be excited for a pretty exterior, gift shop and alleviating congestion on other rides.:D

Can't we have a pretty exterior, gift shop, and alleviated congestion with something... slightly more original?

Is it still a system that goes vertical, similar to Souring'?

Might have to wait for Nintendo/SLoP for that.

I'm so confused. I swear every insider had said this would be a "Soarin" style of attraction and now all of a sudden it's a platform theatre on hydraulics that tilts? What happened? Are we absolutely sure this is the ride system that was chosen? It just doesn't make much sense to me with Minion Mayhem, Shrek and now this all within steps of each other. I'd rather another special effects show like Twister than this. Has something happened internally that is resulting in these lackluster decisions? And moving on to Fast & Furious, I'd actually prefer Disaster over the rumored plans for that attraction as well! Not to mention both Shrek and Terminator are in arguably worse shape than either of these two attractions and yet those will apparently remain indefinitely. After nearly 8 years of flawless decision making at the parks, these recent developments make me worried.

In the case of Disaster, insiders were saying the ride system was at the end of its service life and had to go.

I'd rather walk through the physical effects tunnel of Disaster than sit in a slow moving jeep while being shimmied from side to side while watching a CGI Vin Diesel jump around San Francisco and talk about "Family" for the 700th time.

I stopped riding Disaster years ago so anything is an improvement to me.

...I thought there is a small physical element combined with musion with this attraction, yes?

It didn't seriously get scaled back to walking into a room with a simulator and a big ass screen did it?

Please tell me it didn't...

We always knew it was a flying theater attraction. Nothing has changed.

Yep. And it really makes sense. We're in Fallon's TV theater seating when the "event" happens. So, of course, it's a" flying theater", not individual separated conveyances like Soarin or Simpsons.

Got to knock over a fruit stand. Take it to the next level and launch steorofoam fruit into the audience.

What I meant was when we say that many expect the Soarin' ride system.

Looking at the system, I think this will feel more like Despicable Me than Soarin'.
