Yup. Hopefully tomorrow. This hype snowball is starting to melt... social media-wise at least.

Definitely looks great in the dark. But, it would be nice though if IOA was open in the evening much. Short of peak periods, it's usually closed by dark. I go for 3-4 weeks most every year and I'm lucky if I get 1 hour of IOA in the dark TOTAL.

Luckily its open untill 8pm when we arrive. Last visit remember visiting Hogsmeade at night and was even better than in the day.

Honestly.... and this is based no inside information - I'd believe that picture to be more HHN related than Kong.

Diagon is AWESOME in the dark. We got to do that on Saturday with the concert it was open until 10 PM. I also think it was open later because of grad bash on Friday, so they were giving people who were there that weekend extra hours. Even IOA was open until 9 PM. Man the dragon breathing fire at night was really cool. I have to really talk my husband into coming back to Universal and even he agreed we need to hang out in that area one night. He also loved the food which helps a ton too.

Yes, it's absolutely fabulous in the dark. We spend lot's of time there since the Studio's is usually open after dark. Just wish I could say the same about IOA. We got to see Hogsmeade a couple of times for a short period in the dark, and as Gbird says, it's even better in the dark. I'm hoping Kong/Hulk combination brings in such large crowds that they'll extend the scheduled hours.

I think they will have too. June looks to increase hours to 9 PM, but as summer moves on, it can be light pretty late. Now really late into June it seems to go to 10 PM. So that would give some good night time.

That doesn't help me though. They are usually open late for peak times but not non peak times. If they would add an hour or two in October (or Sept. to help people going then, like Scott), than that would work. That's when I hope it happens.
