I wonder if there is any way we could check filming schedules for the soundstages on the Nintendo property.... I feel like that's the only thing universal is waiting for... I remember a while back, WWOHP had to wait for the Gibson's gigs to end before starting on construction. Maybe ush is getting a head start by breaking ground around the surrounding areas, then demolishing the SS after they're done filming.

Superstore was already moved to those stages next to Nintendo. Stages 16-20 are not moving. Our SNW will be much smaller than Japan, guaranteed. Sad.

You're missing DK.

According to @AlexanderMBush, it's highly likely we will be getting it.

I also said that at a certain point of time to where it seemed likely.

I've had flaking scenarios in the past, to where things turned to no avail. May I remind people of my game with HHN'18?

I did have a bit right, but it still was bad.

__

I would be shocked if 29/31 is used as administration space, unless if it's going to be used as a mixture of office & event space.

My understanding was Orlando was always the only location getting Donkey Kong, FWIW. At least the only one getting Donkey Kong at opening.

Just to point this out, from @Orlandofan12 who mentioned of info he heard a few posts back,

Ride Portion of Sq Ft for MK should clock at 77K Square Feet, which is about in practice 1.76 Acres of space. If we were looking at @Chris and his, he actually has it smaller than what KidZone's Building Size of MarioKart would've been (and more than likely Osaka's). In practice, the only way MarioKart is going to fit, unless drastically cutting, would have to be on Soundstages 22-25, not a mixture of Soundstage 22-25 & 28.

Essentially, Yoshi would nor the land as shown in Chris's image, would be fesible in that way, unless it takes 28 and a portion of Panda Express/Studio Deli/Restrooms.

And just to be a bit more clear..

Feet: 1,166.78 Feet
Square Feet: 77,000 Square Feet
Acres: 1.77 Acres

I agree that MK could fit in the southern area of the land as well. However, I am also taking into account the site balloons which were seen a few months ago. The tallest point of the land is expected to be the top of Yoshi and that was located with the highest balloon closest to JP. I believe the square shape from the balloons were the MK sightlines and this was located next to TF.

I can be wrong...as I said, I have seen nothing to confirm...just trying to piece things together...

I am very disappointed that this land will not be in the same size and scope of WWoHP.

And of-course, I'm taking it with the highest regard, but things pieced together from what I can see, seems to indicate more of certain things.

One tidbit of Yoshi that was mentioned (I think @Alicia, but I could be wrong); revolved on that a part of the attraction would go outside for a spell, over-top the bridge seen in the Osaka art. That said, I'm also keeping an open mind when you also consider just how freaking huge the MarioKart showbuilding is, in height and width. I am not going to be shocked if part of the balloons can give us clues to just how large MarioKart's building is to actually be.

I, too, have heard the MK building is huge.

I also heard that Yoshi may not be a "ride", but more of an "experience"... I think the Yoshi building will be heavily forced perspective like the Hogwarts Castle.

Yoshi is for sure a ride, at least in the Orlando plans.

How big is the Mummy building?
Is MK likely to be bigger or smaller?
Are we really sure a Yoshi ride is on the table?

I don't want to jump to conclusions as things chnage and I believe in waiting until we get something concrete BUT... If we are getting a small and downgraded version of SNW I just don't get why. USH is almost hitting 10 million visitiors a year, adding a mini SNW is going to do nothing to really help capacity or help them compete with Star Wars.

That could work, with the new MK layout and Yoshi's layout reversed (or at least moved from right to left side of land.

Mummy at Universal Hollywood is about 1.42 acres for the building size (not including exterior queue).

That would make MarioKart even smaller than what I brought up, as that'd be about 1.23 acres.

Japan Mario Kart and USH Mummy are very close in square size. The only major difference is that Mario Kart has a portion of its footprint less than Mummy and isn't square.

That'd only be plausible if we throw out the guess from @k_peek_2000 on the building having a U-Shape, and that would only get it to being about .04 acres more than Revenge of The Mummy (Hollywood) on Showbuilding size.

__

For bringing up the two, doing some calculations with Google Earth for one example of the shtick.
