So other then eilish and TCM are the other IPs pretty much a safe guess? Mostly just hyped for more monsters!

also is there a chance that they would wait for Hollywood to reopen before they announce the line up in Orlando?

Nothing is a safe guess.

This is purely a guess on my part, but with casting underway now, I’m thinking we’ll start to see announcements shortly after July 4th.

I'm going to take a guess that they'll hold off announcing anything on the HHN lineup, until USH opens.

That way, they can then announce the dual-coast IP's without much concern.

Any idea as to when that will be?
EDIT: Never mind, I just read that they petitioned you reopen in July

My take is something by June 25th. Should we make July 1st the over/under, and start taking wagers?

Mid to late July.

There’s still too much turmoil for a June announcement.

I'm really surprised we haven't gotten any of the "My girlfriend's brother's best friend is a TM and said he walked by SSxx and the door was open and he saw a giant house being built that looks like the one from Beetlejuice" type reports since the park re-opened. I know it's only been a little over a week since TMs went back to work, but I was expecting them to start popping up right away.

All we've gotten so far, is some trees being moved :)

Edit: Ooops, Joe pointed out we already had one. Guess one of the days I signed on to see 7 new pages only to find out it was all Billie Eilish or location debates, or some other irrelevant (in my opinion) discussion, my eyes must have glassed over and I missed it.

You’re right. Most of that conversation was irrelevant.

And another big reason we didn’t get many “TMs saw this” moments this year is because the parks were closed. The vast majority of TMs were at home while the bulk of construction was occurring. The Pumpkin Lord wall was seen before the closure. And now, most of the houses are complete to the point of not needing the roll doors open.

Fake Productions (the people who build HHN houses) were seen entering backstage in the park wearing what looked like Chance theatre shirts. So construction is still underway!

I have a quick question for you all. I will be turning 18 this year in October. I would love to do go to the Hard Rock Cafe and then do a RIP tour, combining my love for rock and horror. My questions are: Do you think that they will be doing RIP tours? Would doing Hard Rock Cafe then RIP make sense? How much would it probably cost?

Thanks! Have a good day!

Not sure if they will do RIP this year but I think last year it cost like 120 a person. Before the tour starts they give you a nice free little snack area

EDIT: Duh, assumed it was 21st B-Day - editing out all the drinking info :)

That's a pretty vague question. The RIP tour where you get stuck with other attendees (for a total group of 12 people) is about $160 per person I believe. If you want to do a private one, with only your group, I think you have to call VIP services for a price. but it's surely over $2,000 since $160 x 12 is close to $2k.

Keep in mind, this cost is ONLY for the tour, you'd have to have a park ticket on top of that. If you're local, buy your ticket at Publix, and go on a Wed it could be like $50. If you are just going to walk up to the window and buy a ticket on a Saturday night, it could be $100+ plus.

These are all ballpark figures as I'm too lazy to research the exact amounts and have never done RIP, purchased Publix tickets, or bought walk up tickets at the window.

And going to Hard Rock is something you can look up online and look at their prices to get an idea. If you have 10 people going and are planning on getting steak dinners with deserts, it gets very expensive. If you're going to stop in for a burger with 4 buddies, that cost is completely different.

Google the prices of stuff and put together your own list of expenses based on what you plan on doing and that will be your best bet. But I'd highly recommend buying tickets early and getting a pre-event reservation (if they even allow them) at Hard Rock to guarantee you get to do everything you want.

As for if they'll be doing the tours, I'm sure they will as they are a cash cow for them. Will the park be full enough that the tour is really needed to hit all the houses? Nobody knows that for sure.

I wonder how they'll handle Behind the Screams this year. It's the first year that I purchased it, so I'm hoping it's not a dumbed-down experience.

I mean those are also small groups just walking in houses not really touching anything so I don’t think it will be a big issue
