I have a quick question for you all. I will be turning 18 this year in October. I would love to do go to the Hard Rock Cafe and then do a RIP tour, combining my love for rock and horror. My questions are: Do you think that they will be doing RIP tours? Would doing Hard Rock Cafe then RIP make sense? How much would it probably cost?
Thanks! Have a good day!
EDIT: Duh, assumed it was 21st B-Day - editing out all the drinking info
That's a pretty vague question. The RIP tour where you get stuck with other attendees (for a total group of 12 people) is about $160 per person I believe. If you want to do a private one, with only your group, I think you have to call VIP services for a price. but it's surely over $2,000 since $160 x 12 is close to $2k.
Keep in mind, this cost is ONLY for the tour, you'd have to have a park ticket on top of that. If you're local, buy your ticket at Publix, and go on a Wed it could be like $50. If you are just going to walk up to the window and buy a ticket on a Saturday night, it could be $100+ plus.
These are all ballpark figures as I'm too lazy to research the exact amounts and have never done RIP, purchased Publix tickets, or bought walk up tickets at the window.
And going to Hard Rock is something you can look up online and look at their prices to get an idea. If you have 10 people going and are planning on getting steak dinners with deserts, it gets very expensive. If you're going to stop in for a burger with 4 buddies, that cost is completely different.
Google the prices of stuff and put together your own list of expenses based on what you plan on doing and that will be your best bet. But I'd highly recommend buying tickets early and getting a pre-event reservation (if they even allow them) at Hard Rock to guarantee you get to do everything you want.
As for if they'll be doing the tours, I'm sure they will as they are a cash cow for them. Will the park be full enough that the tour is really needed to hit all the houses? Nobody knows that for sure.
