That’s pretty awesome. But i mean like actual ones ( I don’t really know how to explain) there basically that but bigger and there head are massive with usually black eyes.

No, they don't have official funkos of HHN original properties. Funko does make plenty of IP figures that have appeared at the event, and I believe the Universal shops sell them for like $20 when you can get them for $11 most other places. There are also some exclusive Funko variants that they sell (like some rainbow unicorn or something) but nothing like the Disney Gondolas / Yeti / etc that they sell at the Mouse House parks...

Edit: Universal Studios Exclusive - Pop!® Vinyl Figure: Fluffy | Universal Orlando™ It would appear this is a Universal-only Pop and not a variant like I assumed. Never saw any of the Despicable Me movies.

I'm not sure if this idea has already been said but I was thinking about mannequins/marionettes theater and isn’t part of the ushers backstory he got tied up in the ropes of the UPT and then his ghost did that to unruly guest? Kinda like live marionette? And wasn't the usher said to be seen on set with Jack? I doubt that will play into anything tho.

What an original idea! Where did you come up with this?
Thank you for liking the idea. The idea came to me yesterday because I purchased the killer klowns Funko pops. they reminded me so much of hhn. And basically I just put hhn and Funko together and I got the idea.

I think this has been talked about, but do we see Frequent Fear getting the can or just like, kinda nerfed this year? I'm kind of between getting a BOGO w/ express or a Frequent Fear Plus so I can just keep going when I'm not working/in class because I'm really nervous about them dropping FF for just this year.

I don't wanna start a whole discussion about how the thing that shall not be named will effect this year's event, I'm just stressing about what pass to get hahah

We don't know yet, I asked UOR and the official line is "we've honored upgrading BOGO tickets to Frequent Fear before but as it hasn't been announced this year we cannot comment."

I see. Oooh this is quite the gamble isn't it? HAHAH. I've never had to do a ticket upgrade before, do you just pay for a new ticket or is it like a slightly lowered price? I feel like if it's the same price I'll just keep the BOGO out of spite. Eeerrgghhh, I'm getting too nervous over this

I can see I didn't miss much

You guys know how the backstory of the Universal Palace Theatre mentions that it used to be a playhouse where they did plays? It would be cool if Mannequin Theatre is actually a prequel to the events of HHN19. Heck, maybe they can even throw in a cameo from The Usher in there. I mean look: It is an anniversary year, so tying a new original house to a prior fan favorite event would make sense.
Unfortunately, the Usher will not be involved with this theme. And from what I read, the Palace Theater was a former Opera House.

I was told it’s impossible to tell which house is the budget house (granted—after only seeing most of the houses), so the sets should be uniformly impressive.
This might explain the massive layoffs they experienced tonight. I'm hearing entertainment and Creative took hard hits.

What makes you think I'm not heartless? ;)

And regarding the theme for Mannequin Theater not being Usher, may we ask if it's something totally new or something relating to an old concept? I know stuff gets lost in translation all the time, so it makes sense if it's totally unknown. I do have this feeling that it could possibly be related to Dollhouse.

Unfortunately, I do not have that info

dea 1: We adventure past the lantern and find ourselves in a distorted Carey, OH, where we must adventure through the Carey Library, where Storyteller awakens the Terra Queen and puts the earthquake into motion. Next, unsteady, we must go through the Universal Palace (or the Die-In), where Usher and Director attack. We find ourselves in a Casino, where we might find Lady Luck and run through the restroom to find an exit, only to run into Bloody Mary. As we run further from Carey, we must go through the ScreamHouse and the Orfanage, encountering Careraker and Cindy, and finally through either the Jail, RUN, a Carnival of Carnage, or scenes of all as we face off against Chance, Eddie, and Jack. Finally, we see Fear take root once more for a final scare and take an LT member as a final gag.

Late response, but what a great idea. Would be thrilled if this was the route they were going. And, it would make sense that we heard rumblings of a Carey house at first. Insiders could have reasoned later that the Carey house and the Icon house were really one and the same.

Side note: I recall someone, perhaps @Legacy mentioning that, canonically, all icons were sealed back into the Lantern following HHN20. Is that true and does that include Jack? And, if so, I’m just curious if they addressed how he escaped to host 25. Forgive me for asking questions this deep in the weeds of HHN lore

I’m almost done with watching Hill House. It has such great potential for a house in regards to atmosphere. There are some great moments for jump scares as well. I really hope we get to walk through the red door that is a key image of the show. I definitely see the house as being similar to Graveyard games in regards to atmosphere.

what do you all think? How do you all think the house will turn out?

You aren't alone I think we are all nervous about what ticket options will be available and how easily we can enter HHN this year

Yeah, I figured as much. I know it’ll definitely be difficult to get into the park because attendance will obviously be capped at like less than 50%, but I’d rather show up and get turned away with a FF because I showed up too late rather than go twice with a BOGO and be like “Man. I really want to go again but can’t waste anymore money”, yknow

Hill House is gonna be a banger, I can feel it. If not for its scares, than I think A&D will at least get the set design down amazingly. I’m honestly really shocked it’s in a parade building (granted that’s all true) but it’ll serve well. I genuinely cannot understand how people say it won’t work.

EDIT- I think Hill House is gonna be similar to the Poltergeist situation where a lot of people doubt its ability to be scary and it ends up knocking most people’s expectations out of the park. But, again, who knows? It could end up as literal trash I don’t wanna get anyone’s hopes up including my own.

If they have the car scene and floating backwards guy I’ll be satisfied. A lot of potential. Just walking through the morgue/funeral home could be great.

I have a question, what do you guys think the facade for the Icons house may be, personally I hope its the caretakers mansion. That'll be a pretty impressive facade to see in a soundstage.
