I totally agree. If I thought they needed to be Disney I wouldn't be calling for some family friendly attractions like HM and Pirates. I would be calling for more things like Dumbo and Pooh to attract toddlers. Disney will always be Disney, but I do think Uni wants to attract more families and to bridge the gap between them and Disney. And I have always said if you have a family with just one child under the age of 5, Uni is a hard sell. People are not going to want to spend $100 per ticket when part of their family cannot ride very many rides. And when one child can't ride that ride, someone has to stay back in child swap. Which makes for a longer day. Also, some families bring the grandparents down, which also sometimes limits the types of rides you can go on. I love the thrill rides Uni provides, but I do think they need to get some well rounded rides that can be for anyone and everyone enjoys.
On a side note, when it comes to child swap, I love how it is set up. But when I was originally researching it when I had kids, there are many people that complain about how Uni has it set up. Because some children are scared of just the queue and other kids want to ride these types of rides, but are not tall enough. So it teases them by going through the entire line. So if there was more family friendly rides, you may be able to do more and appease those kids who get dragged through the lines.
