I'd love to see the IP used as a land in the 3rd gate.

I'm holding out hope for perhaps a late September soft open (that's when my next trip is scheduled for), but I'm sure more realistically we will see it start softs in October, similar to NBC Sports.

I'm a little curious why do so many think this will take a few months longer than NBC Sports did to open?

Yeah, I think it should open just about the same time (especially considering NBA closed around the same time NASCAR did).

NBC Sports Grill was announced June 1st, this would seem to have about a 2-3 month difference based on that. Also NBA closed in August I believe and Nascar in November.

For me it's the fact that this is a far more elaborate restaraunt then NBC Sports was. It could translate to linger build time. We may all be wrong on that, but I'm trying to save myself the heartache is I go down in September and it's not open LOL

This doesn't seem that elaborate. The concepts art shows the same basic structure inside and out. It's mostly decorative changes much like Nascar to NBC was.

I do understand where your coming from in tempering expectations though.

NASCAR was completely gutted for NBC. Everything inside is new. I'd expect the same build time.

Is anyone else not interested in eating a steak from a "chocolate factory"?

I'm sure the shakes and chocolate concoctions will be a hit, but I don't think this place will succeed as an actual restaurant. And for a place that will definitely attract kids, it doesn't seem very kid-friendly.

This gets a big 'eh' from me.

Its just a name a motif. It might turn some off, but look how popular The Cheesecake Factory is and I think that place is incredibly mediocre if not less.

I don't know about any of you, but I have tried a chocolate-inspired rub on BBQ and it was delicious.

I'm curious as to if they wil have something that isn't chocolate related here for the non-chocolate people like myself that wouldn't mind experiencing just the atmosphere itself at least once.

That's kind of like saying "I don't like burgers, will Burger-Fi have something for me?"

Joking aside, I can imagine we'll see a few items that could work for ya.

Very much so. Like going to a Ford dealership looking for the best deal on a used Chevy rather than the Chevy dealership.
Sometimes, places like these usually have gems not within the classification. ( Like Burger King selling Grilled Hot Dogs if thats what you like).

I guess a better question would be is/or has there been a menu released?

That's actually got me quite excited. I got some chili chocolate years ago at Christmas and I loved it and have never been able to find anything decent since. Ill need to try it.

That kind of sums up how I bought my first car. I got an absolute bargain and sold it on 2 years later for more than I paid for it.

I'd like to say that they'll have much more on the menu than just chocolate because chocolate isn't a meal but I've been eating Easter eggs for lunch recently so I can't really say that honestly.

Toothsome's is a full blown table service restaurant. They will have apps and entrees that don't have chocolate. I expect steak, pasta and seafood dishes. Also a full bar with specialty hand crafted cocktails. And desserts to die for.

I would love for them to have a cheese fondue appetizer. And I bet they have 4-5 chocolate fondues for dessert.
