The one time I've been on Shrek, I enjoyed the pre-show and the theming significantly better than the actual show. Once that show got started, ughh.

This. The preshow is great. The actual show is terrible to the max.

So... the only thing to wonder about now is where will the big entrance be. I would aim for an angle at the lagoon and Mel's... but I ain't going to push to find out. I like surprises too.

Agreed. It's about the only vantage point they have to work with; otherwise they'll have the Tomorrowland problem. Issue already plagues T2-3D.

Which angle are we talking about here? I figured the entrance would be facing the lagoon.

This is what I was thinking of... (the cut out top right is the entrance)

I could be wrong, but I think the way the ride path is set up, the entrance has to be in a certain spot, no? I don't know how the inside of the building is laid out of course, so I could be wrong.

^If you turn that purple TF building 180 degrees, then the entrance would be facing the lagoon.

Don't take my hack literally... The queue can be mucked with... I flipped the building but I could have just as easily rotated the building which would change nothing. It may be that the new building doesn't follow the donkey cutout at all, but backs up tight against the cafe. The cafe building can be completely remodified to make up for losses later.

My point is aim the entrance at mels and the lagoon. It is such a dead area of the park.

Yea, I don't know either. I'm just speculating. I think it'll be interesting to see what ends up happening with the cafe. If the entrance faces the lagoon, I could see it not changing.

I don't think there'd be a whole lot of extra money to be earned by a TF dining option, so I think it'll most likely stay.

Probably more money in a TF dining option than Monsters Cafe makes, sadly.

True. But will it end up seasonal like MC? If so, then maybe it'd be better to leave it. Idk...

If they put the "Energon" drink inside it and make it the only place available, I bet it'd be pretty popular.

And let's be honest, the Monster marquee outside looks ridiculous. A holdover of a bygone era.

That'd be one way to do it. Idk. I just feel like that location is just off for a restaurant. But TF certainly couldn't hurt to try.

Either way, it can't make the place any less profitable.

I could see it having similar theming to Singapore's "Starbot Cafe", but with more TF influences.

Or, since the restaurant is primarily in Production Central, theme it to a 'Production Crew Cafe' sort of ordeal with various props and iconic foods from attractions all around the park. There could be rooms themed to the different attractions; a main art-deco atrium for the entrance/Hollywood area, a N.E.S.T. employee cafe room, a MIB employee lounge room, etc.

What about a Monstars Cafe? You could make a killing selling Air Jordans.
