I checked with a friend. He believes they are power/control units for Cinematic.

Looking through old photos and they have been there for awhile so that makes sense.

Great pics, hatetofly. Those are definitely more substantial than pilings, from what it looks like. Great job.

Also, I've started a topic on the recent photograph crackdown: http://www.orlandounited.com/forums...niversal-Orlando-Resort-s-Photographic-phobia I think it's important to give this topic it's due and make sure the fanbase knows about it. If more people talk about it, maybe UOR will realize how dumb it is.

Three things.

1. Amazing photos!
2. Those are some big ass beams.
3. The shot with the excavator in mid-air seriously messed with my head for a second, till I saw the cables.

I am not sure those are construction beams... they are too small for this phase and also kind of used and rusty looking. They might be tool beams, meaning something like the braces for the portadam in the lagoon.

Well it looks like they're going into the SS44 plot...

I did not mean that they are a portadam system. I meant they look like 'utility' beams; something to assist in construction rather than something that would be used on the building itself.

So, anyone else see this post on Screamscape yesterday?

...At this point I’m not even sure if I can guess what it will be. There are so many rumors in every direction and conspiracy theories about misinformation campaigns under way to hide the truth that it may be best to wait and look for the clues...

I couldn't even be mad at this point if they were pulling a fast one on us. It would be bravo to them for a game perfectly played.

But they're not

He's obviously back tracking and now trying to cover his behind because he sounded like a complete fool last week saying it wasn't TF

He's lost a lot of credibility already, and he loses more every day.

For those of you that have attended the old Cinesphere 360 these units were used during the show. If you remember the scene when the underwater pyro went off and the ground shook in viewing areas near central park. These units were responsible for the ground movement. They are basically directions subwoofers aimed at the ground. Just think of them as very powerful speakers.

I am not sure if the are used during Cinematic Spectacular.

Thanks for the explanation bob. Now please stop accidentally hitting the 'h' key in the wrong place twice. It twisted my brain hard trying to read that.
