Sure it is great quality. But nothing 'new' in experience for those who have been on Spiderman. Got to understand those were a vast majority of voters who have no idea what Spiderman is like. I don't think anyone is claiming that Transformers is not a good ride.

I think Dinosaur aka Countdown to Extinction is a great ride, but to someone who has been on Indy you hear nothing but complaints in comparison.

Coming from someone who's talked to industry insiders and those that worked on both attractions, many say TF is the better all around ride.

Did they say what made it better? I've never ridden Transformers and I'm really looking forward to it being at Universal Orlando.

I just remember that almost everything Spider-man did, Transformers does better. Better movement/screen interaction, great sets, better imagery, better queue and story. Only thing I believe they said Spidey did better was physical effects.

Awesome. Can hardly wait, just wish it were gonna be ready this year instead of next. It won't diminish Spider one iota for me, it's still a fantastic ride. I'm not one of these guys who craps on something if it isn't the absolute best thing in the world. I like to think I can appreciate things for what they are and not what they aren't.

Agreed. And Spider-man will still be a top 5-10 ride in the world. Not to shabby to have 3 (probably 4 when Gringotts opens) of those in your two parks.

I don't know, I watched that TF POV ride video and it seemed awfully similar to Spiderman, just with characters I have no emotional or nostaligic attachment too. but like I said, I hated the movies, so that kinda makes me biased.

So, comparing that pic to one on Westcoaster.net, it looks like the entrance will be on the lagoon side. I could be wrong, but that's the idea I'm getting.

I think that "W" in the middle is UniCreative dropping hints. And I have figured out what this thing is. Goodbye T and A Wrestling! Hello WWE!

Or it could be a fallen over saw horse.

So, they are about 18' below grade which puts them well below the lagoon, and only half the site is covered... so, will there be an expansion of this to the other side? If so, they have a ton of earth yet to move. I guess a foundation mat is a foundation mat... looks just like the picture yesterday.

Very deep! Does this foundation really look like a building large enough for Transformers??

It's only part of it. They're still digging the elevator pits and things like that.

Keep in mind that if this depth had anything to do with elevators, they wouldn't be digging out the whole area. On the other hand, I have no info as to why they are going so deep. One possible reason may be to lower the profile of the building. I am shocked they have gone as deep as they have.

Will the second floor be at grade and instead of going up to the second floor, the EVAC goes down to the first? It means a smaller visual footprint for the show building.
